We are discussing, the fourth hymn composed by Swami Abhedanandaji Maharaj, Prakruthim Paramam. In this first verse, we also have discussed, what is the nature of the mother? Before proposing any qualities that one can have. For example, a person is supposed to be very compassionate. He doesn't have knowledge, he doesn't have power. Compassion is useless unless the person knows what it is and how to use and the power.

So Mother is the “Parama Prakruti”. It is Supreme cause. What Sri Ramakrishna used  to call Shakhty. Brahman and Shakhty. This  what is her nature away? Abhayam Varadham. In other words, srishti, sthithi and Laya. All the three are included. And that Supreme mother had taken birth as a human being for what purpose? So that she could come down to our level. It is said that if a teacher has to become an efficient teacher, he should have he or she should have the capacity to come down to the level of the student. Otherwise, the person However knowledgeable will not be able to really help the student.

So God has to come down. And this idea has been explained so beautifully in the fourth chapter of the Gita. What is the when does God incarnate? What does he do and what is the benefit? So what is the thatva it is Purushartha,  and what is the hitam?

This is what is being said, nararupa-dharam. What is the purpose? janatapa-haram - she who can destroy all the afflictions, grieve Dhukka of the people. People suffer from two types of Dhukka. How many types? Two types. What are they? This is what has been said. Yes, but Abyudaya & Nisreyasa. Worldly grief and the spiritual misery,

inability to attain worldly desires is an obstruction Abyudaya and the incapacity to progress in for spiritual life is obstruction to Nisreyasa.

So the divine mother comes for all both the people. That is why it is said. Only the purusharthas are of 2 types. Dharma, Artha, Kama  - That is one type of purusharthas, equivalent to Abyudaya. Then there is another type of purushartha that is called Nisreyasa, Moksha, Mukthi. It was by this name. Pravruthi & Nivruthi. Now,  you might have heard these two words Pravruthi & Nivruthi. You  should never misunderstand the meaning of it - Nivruthi means spiritual life. Taking to spiritual life is called Nivruthi.

Then what is Pravruthi taking to worldly life? That can create a lot of misunderstanding. Pravruthi means taken to the path of Dharma that which leads to the DHARMA, Artha and Kama. DHARMA, Artha and Karma. This is called Pravruthi Lakshana.

Dharmo vividha  Lakshanaha prvruthischa nivruthischa - Pravruthi & Nivruthi in the introduction to the Bagavad Gita Shankarachria clearly says Abyudaya & Nisreyasa. Everybody  wants happiness. Even worldly person also wants happiness. But he's very interesting. I pointed out earlier he also wants the highest happiness. What is the difference then it is spiritual person and the worldly person? In the goal there is absolutely no difference. I hope you are able to follow what I am telling. If you put this question properly, do you want. But the highest happiness  biggest happiness, or smallest happiness. Who  would opt for the smallest happiness.

Everybody opts only for highest happiness. Nobody, even by anybody who is a little bit of imagination, will not really desire for lower type of happiness. Then why do we call them worldly people? Because they want to get the highest happiness through worldly instruments. Oh, you take one small Cup and want to empty the ocean. Is it ever possible? But that is what worldly person mistakenly thinks. Yes, he can empty. He can bring the whole ocean to home. Is it ever possible?  Sri Ramakrishna  beautifully illustrates this fact. One day, a small ant  approached a  Hill of Sugar mountain of Sugar. It just ate one grain of sugar which filled Its  stomach.  And it went back thinking, next time when I come, I will carry the whole mountain to my home. This is exactly describing the mental state of a worldly person. Where as a spiritual person, what does he do? No instrument is adequate to get the highest happiness. The only way is I must and I let myself and be one with the highest a small drop of water. It should fall into the ocean. What does it become? An ocean by itself? That is the difference between worldly person and spiritual person. So not that they don't want highest happiness. They want exactly the same happiness.

Ok, here is the divine Mother, JanataAPA Haram - she who destroys afflictions of everybody. And we said that people are of two types, those who aim for worldly happiness and are afflicted, those who aim for spiritual progress and also unable to progress in one's way. Even if one thinks. The example to illustrate this point is Thothapuri himself. For he thought he attained Brahma  Gnana. Did he attain Brahma  Gnana? Our devotees have to be Crystal clear in their thinking. Even if you think a little bit one subject, you ought to be very clear about it. He thought he was a Brahma gnani. And why did he get angry without his knowledge? Or what is mind control? That means we know every single thought that even not only that arose, but even about to arise.

Oh, this thought is going to come even from a seed strict. Why was not THothathri got a rear and this temple servant came first. Second is when he sat in meditation. Then he was able to concentrate perfectly. But when he opened his eyes, why did he not enter into the temple of the Divine Mother? That means he was not looking upon the Divine Mother as Brahman. That means he has got a dualistic mind. This is God. And this is not only not God. Not only in a manifestation of God. is a visishtadwaitin  thinks. The whole universe is a manifestation of God and a dwaitin thinks The whole universe is Jagat is a creation of God. Even they are able to see. Here is an advaitin  what was his idea?   Jagath mithya. Brahma sathyam. So  that Brahman is available only in the

mind. But the moment you open, then the whole world presents. And that is totally mithya. This is not the teaching of Advaitha.

Because  according to Dwaitha the world  is not mithya.. God also real world also is real. According to this foolish Advaitha, Brahman alone is real. And as opposed to Brahman, there is something which is mithya. That means what? Brahman is not there. Where mithya  is Brahman Is not.  where Brahman is. mithya is not. This is the worst type of duality anybody can cherish in their minds. That's why 11 months he had  to stay. And then one day he said, I will give up my body. Why am I talking about it? Say suppose I feel depressed. Whose body will give up my body or your body? Can I give up your body? Can I commit suicide through your body. Suicide means what? My own body?

How did this person come to know my body? This is me. And this is my body. Is it not duality? So me Brahman. But this body is not Brahma. How can it be? What kind of vedanta  is that body is Brahman mind is Brahman. Everything is nothing but Brahman. This is the true vision Advaitha no dvaita. and it is the same truth. But he did not realize it. So he went as we know to commit suicide. There was no water and then the divine Mother out of her Grace. She revealed to him two things. The first thing is everything is me. There is nothing other than me. You can call me from one point of view. Brahman. Another point of view. Shakhty, there is no Brama. There is no mithya.  Second is if you had been able to progress even a little in any aspect either worldly or spiritual. It is all because of my grace. Nobody can help either Abyudaya or Nisreyasa.

Either  Worldly happiness, or spiritual happiness excepting through my Grace. That is this point Gita  tenth chapter a almost one.

यद्यद्विभूतिमत्सत्त्वं श्रीमदूर्जितमेव वा |

तत्देवावगच्छ त्वं मम तेजोंऽशसम्भवम् || 41||

yad yad vibhūtimat sattvaṁ śhrīmad ūrjitam eva vā

tat tad evāvagachchha tvaṁ mama tejo ’nśha-sambhavam

Somebody is very rich. That richness belongs to whom? to God.  Somebody is great musician. That musical talent belongs to whom? God. So what about small musical talent? There is a man who is a master in music. Ustad.  There is another man who could sing a little Bajan so that highest  happiness is coming from whom?

And what about the lowest manifestation? Is it coming from God or not? This is a fact.

Where to everything. Thanu, Mana, Dhana Everything belongs to the Divine Mother. Why Prakrutim Paramam. Before this universe came who was existing only the Divine Mother and from her everything in this rich man also comes from her. Poor man also comes from her mom. Mohammed Ali comes from her, Einstein comes from her. Who doesn't come from the Divine Mother. Everybody is the manifestation of the Divine Mother. This is most marvelous idea. We have to drill into our mind. Nothing exists excepting the Divine Mother. That is the meaning of Prakruthim Paramam. But she assumes herself. We are also going to discuss another point.

When it comes, I will do the I will discuss about it. So Abhayam varddam  etcetera. So the whole universe is nothing. But the Divine mother manifestation of the Divine Mother. So whatever I am talking, who is talking Divine mother. Who  is listening? Divine Mother only. only it looks as though this is going too far. What about your dreaming that I am taking a class for you? Then who is talking? In fact you are talking.

And if I come there I will prove  you for violating Drm see you in. you have assumed my form. You have no right. See  what is happening. Abaya fearlessness. A mother grants fearlessness to the children. This is what we call the word comes again and again Kripayah.

Kripa means compassion. From the highest point of view, Who is to bestow compassion? Even from our point of view, What did Sri Ramakrishna  teach? Not  compassion, not Dhaya – Shiva gnane jeeva seva.  if that is what we are suppose then who is going to teach  the Divine  mother? Not Dhaya because who the hell are you to show Dhaya? I hope you are able to follow what I'm talking about. The Divine Mother. Has she compassion? Has she not compassion? I want you to think clearly never utter the word compassion. Kripa , Dhaya these words are meaningless words. If a mother is looking after her child, do you call it compassion? Where do you get this example? In the gospel of Sri Ramakrishna.

Once there were  some six sick devotees. What did they say – Easwar is kripa maya. Sri Ramakrishna immediately took the axe of Advaitha, and said broke in and said, Why do you call him kripa mayi. Oh, he is so compassionate. He is giving us so many things there. So there is a problem, you know, when he is giving certain things is kripamayi.. When he is giving the other things, is he kripamayi or not? And he is giving a lab who is talking? Oh God. How much? kripa, you were bestowing  upon me. Does anybody say that? No. So we are making that mistake. But should the Divine Mother commit that mistake. What was Sri Ramakrishna’s answer? Six devotees did not understand is not God compassionate? Sri Ramakrishna said, No, I don't call it compassion. I'm putting it in my words.

What do you say? If There is a mother, and she has Children and she is looking after the children. Do you call her compassionate? This is what Didi. DiDd means what? Di Date world war second. they wanted to invade. You know, Allied forces. It's called Dd. This is what can I call with regard to Divine Mother. D D means damned date. What thaya  are you talking about? You yourself are appearing in this form. You are giving money To whom? Giving to yourself. And you are giving medicine. To whom? To yourself.  You are supplying water to whom? To yourself. You are a Fanning whom. Makes sense from ignorance point of view. We are small. She is big. We are children.

She's mother.

From her point of view is she bestowing  kripa. She is Fanning home. Who is Fanning whom? So we are taught whenever we do whatever we do, Siva gnane Jeeva seva. see another very important point to keep in mind. Always we apply this teaching of Sri Ramakrishna  to others. What about ourselves? When you are thirsty, you are drinking your hands. Go and fetch the glass of water and put it into the mouth. On the mouth is swallowing. What way are we supposed to look upon ourselves? Daya, kripa -I'm serving whom? Shiva. I am Shiva. So this body belongs to whom? Tell me, what am I talking about? Totapuri, He wanted to commit suicide. He reached  the other side of the Ganga. 00:19:28-8

The Mother revealed knowledge. What was the knowledge? You don't have a body. That body is me. You don't have a mind. That mind is me and you don't have any knowledge. That knowledge belongs to me. You never had any Agnana. who had the Agnaana me. Then he understood. What did he understand? There is no difference between him and the Divine Mother. perfect Brahma gnani. Then wherever he looked at himself, at his body, at his mind, at this world. Wherever he looked, what did he perceive? Only one reality. What is that? Aham Brahma asmi.  I hope you are able to understand. So she's the Divine Mother. From our point of view, she had taken a birth as a human being. For the purpose Jana tapa haram.  Jana means people – thapa haram  than they destroy all their afflictions. All afflictions fall into three categories.

What are they? Adyathmica, Adhibouthika and Adi Deivika.

Then Sharana-gata sevaka-toshakarim, Sharangata sevaka – means Those who dedicated their life to spiritual life is called a savaka.  Then there. What is the condition Imposed? Sharanagata-  those who have taken refuge in you. You make them happy person. But how does the Mother make them happy? By giving knowledge? What knowledge? That you are not the body mind? If you are the body mind, can the Divine Mother remove the afflictions? I want you to answer. I want you to think if she doesn't give the knowledge that we are the self. We are the Atman. But we already have the idea. I am the body mind. With this kind of knowledge, is it possible even for God to remove our afflictions?

It's impossible. Why say rephrase the same statement into other ways. Is it possible for the limited to become unlimited? Is it possible that's what we are talking? What does the mother do? She gives the knowledge that you are not the body and mind. Of course, you know she will give money. She will give food, she will give clothing and all these things. We assume like that. But along with that, do you think that the Divine Mother will only give a little foot, a little money, a little clothing and she will  keep us in the same state of ignorance? She will also remove. Why?  Sharanagata. They have taken total refuge in you. Oh Mother, I do not have anybody else. I totally surrender myself to you. This is the meaning of Saranagati. Always keep in mind. Saranagati means that I am helpless. You are the savior of the helpful.

Thasmath thvameva sharanam mama Deena bando.  True Saranagati, there is no place for in this bit of go egotism. It is not possible. Toshakareem - . She will make a person happy by giving happiness? No. By giving knowledge. Because if she gives happiness, it is like a person is hungry and you give food for that type time when the person will be satisfied only for the time Being. But you teach him something or you make provisions. Whereas every day the person will not suffer. And no day he suffers from thirst, hunger, shelter, etc. The even ordinary people they do to their children, to parents think only today we will feed our children. Or do they think that whole life we want to make provisions. In fact, most parents, what do they do? They leave so much of inheritance. For whom? For their children only.

So if this is the condition of the ordinary parents, what to speak of the Divine Mother? So pranamami param Jananim jagatam.. I salute. Pranamami – pranama - you pranama means what?. See every single word. It has a very special meaning. I told you that while I was explaining the word Namaha. Namaha is originated from the world earlier a Ma ma, not my Pena. Racist Ruena Servon. Everything belongs to the divine Mother only. I do not have anything. Even I also belong to the Divine Mother only. That knowledge is called a Pranamami Param. I take refuge. And I salute again and again whom – param jananim jagatham.

Jagatham param Jananim. - a name at Agam earlier Prakruti Parama Prakruti. That Parama Prakruti is in the form of the Divine Mother of the whole world. Divine Mother of the whole world. Because ordinary Mother, she has severe limitation. How much she could give it is only the Divine Mother she could give. The whole world. In  fact she has given us the whole world. Then  we move on to the next one.

Gunahina-sutanaparadha-yutan,

kripayadya samuddhara moha-gatan

Taranim bhava-sagara parakarim,

pranamami param jananim jagatam.

This last four words, pranamami param jananim jagatam is common for all The Three Slokas. So he is talking about Guna Hina Sutan. We are all devoid of Gunas. What gun are we talking about? If we are talking about sathva Rajo & thamo guna, we are not lacking because everybody will have all the Tri Gunas. But the manifestation of Sathva guna is lacking in most of us. How do we know? I mentioned earlier there are two characteristics of Sathva guna. What are they? Knowledge And happiness.

Knowledge and happiness are the quality of Sathva guna. And we are lacking. Sometimes we are happy. Most of the time we are not happy. Why  are we not happy.

What is the cause of happiness? Knowledge. What is the knowledge? I do not have any desire. I hope you are able to follow. You follow this one. How does happiness come? You are hungry. You are unhappy. You eat food, you are happy. So what is it that happens? I am free from the sense of hunger. So eating is giving that knowledge.

I do not have any more limitation called hunger. This hunger has been removed. That knowledge produces sukha.  Satvam sukhe sanjayathi.  Gnanam sukhe sanjayathi.

Sathva guna is Gnana guna. What are the two characteristics of Rajo Guna? Karmana loba pravruthirarrambaha karmana asamaspruha. Loba - Insatiable greed and naturally the person will be propelled for what to obtain more and more. That is that. First comes loba. Then comes insatiable activity to fulfill those these things. Okay, so what are the two qualities of thamo Guna?  Pramada & moha.  And first to comes which one Moha. Moha means delusion. Delusion means the inability to understand what is right and what is wrong as a result of it. What Pramada Danger comes. Yes. So with this Gunahina-sutan. What guna first meaning of Guna is I lack sathva guna.

What is the sathva guna? Oh mother. I cannot recognize that I have a mother. And that is not the earthly mother. You are the only mother of ultimate mother. Parama prakrythi means what?  ultimate mother. The  cause the end of the entire universe. If only I had that sathva guna, I would have that knowledge that you are the ultimate mother. These are what words Sri Ramakrishna  wants to say that the real mother is so. We call the Holy Mother also Holy who is Holy? Holiness. We are not talking about being a little bit Holy. We are talking about Holiness itself. Sarada Devi. This is all hymn of Sarada Devi ….00:30:07-0

We are talking about Guna means what? which is guna do. We want thamoguna or rajoguna, which now we wish? Satva guna more and more is a prayer. Oh Mother, I do not have this guna. And you are the embodiment of gunasraye  Guna mayi therefore you are the embodiment of Satvaguna. You have already given me sufficient thamo guna,  and also some amount of Rajoguna. But give me now Sathva guna. So what are the characteristics of this Sathva guna. All  these spiritual qualities like what

Abhayam sathva sam suthe Gnana yoga vyavasthithe

dhanam dhamascha yagnascha  Swadyaya padha arjavam.

All  the qualities. In other words, the qualities of ahimsa, Sathya, astheya, Brahmacharya, aparigraha,  Soucha,  Santosha,  tapaha,  Svadyaya. Culminating in Ishvara pranidhanah. So this is what guna Hina Sutan - as a result of not having good qualities. That means not having good qualities means what having opposite quality.

Unspiritual quality is aparadha-yutan, Full  of aparatas. All aparatas means what-, defects. We commit lots of crimes. The greatest crime  in Sanskrit language is called Pragna aparadha. Pragna aparadha. This was what Isha Vasya Upanishad  is talking about.

asuryā nāma te lokā andhena tamasā vṛtāḥ |

tāṁs te pretyābhigacchanti ye ke cātmahano janāḥ ||3||isha vasya Upanishad…

(Those worlds of devils are covered by blinded darkness. Those people that kill the Self go to them after giving up this body.)

Those  people who are devoid of self knowledge. They become asuras and they go to the world of the Asuras and suffer there for a long time. Such people, who do not strive for self realization, Such people are called asuras and they enter into the world. A deep darkness means they suffer.

The Prethya means. You know, this wonderful mantras, Prethya doesn't mean after death. Right now I am like a dead person. If I do not know what I am, I am like a dead person. What does it mean? Not in the death means physical death here. What it means is a mental state. What is that? I am very unhappy person. Even if I am happy a little bit, But lot of unfulfilled desires, I am still very unhappy person.

So this is the most wonderful truth aparadha-yutan.

All crimes are committed because of what? Agnana. So  Arjuna was about to commit the greatest sin. You know what is the greatest sin not to do one’s Dharma is the greatest sin. I mentioned in our Bagavad Gita class. We are talking about Karma. Nithya, naimithica, kamya, nisidda and prayachita,  and those who do not perform Nithya, naimithica obligatory duties by not doing - not by committing crime, but neglecting to perform one’s own  duties they get obtained a special type of sin. Papa, it is what is it called? a type of papa Karya. comes like a child in the school doesn't do homework, doesn't do homework. It is a crime. The teacher will not leave. I have not done anything. Give one blow. How could you give me a blow when I you have not done your homework is a Sanskrit name, which just now I have forgotten that name. It is a special type of papa  will come.

sv-alpam apy asya dharmasya trayate mahato bhayat - This special Papa will come. So even if we do something positively papa will come. If we don't do what we are supposed to do that also papa will come. So  we have we have to be careful. But what is the root because of all this branti - wrong knowledge? What is the wrong knowledge? What is right? We consider it as wrong and what is wrong? We consider it as right. This type of misunderstanding is called Pragna Apparata. Pragna  means wisdom. Apparata meanns  terrible crime. This is wrong knowledge is the terrible crime. From there only if you just look Hitler are all these people? They committed terrible crimes. Why do you think they're committing? Is it because they are bad people? They are also creation of God only  - Jananim Jagatham. They are also children of  Holy Mother only.

Yes. Interesting proposition about this Pakistan Prime Minister suppose he comes to Holy Mother. How will she treat him? My sons Sharad & Amjad and my son  Imron also is treated in exactly in the same way because she doesn't see anything different. Anyway, you all know what I'm going to talk. But  still they will tell you from their point of view there is no crime. There is no Papa. There is no puniya because it is all like cinema for them. It  is like cinema for us It is real. For them It is not real. It is a profound philosophical truth in this. If we don't understand it, then we are not wise people. What is that? So much injustice is going on in this world? More injustice or less injustice tremendous. If then why is not God coming on interfering?

see 2 theory is you to understand. The first theory is that it is all Lila as to the rest is Lila. You are seeing a drama. In drama you can commit any number of crimes and the more number of crimes you commit, the more better reward will be better. That's what you do it in. Can you acted so well like that? The hero did not Act well. But will an actor wonderful who gets reprised? This is the will only because it is all not real, but it's make believe. That's why you pay and you also recommend other people that make people take other dharmic people. We watched this. It is wonderful like that. First.

Second, from the viewpoint of philosophy, who was the enemy? Who is the hero?

It's only God who is the Villain self of God in you. Like  your dream that you create a hero and heroin and also villain. Then all the drama takes place. Who is doing what to whom you are doing to yourself? Ah. As a villain, you are fighting yourself. As a hero you are also fighting with yourself or somebody else. I hope you are able to follow. So this is one of the questions, profound questions, dvaitin are nonhindu religions also pose? If the whole world is Mithya, then why all this injustice is there? It's a real creation of God. When God is not doing anything and we lay that charge against God. That why you are not doing these things. But Advaitha alone can give the real answer. Let it dissolve. Make believe. But I don't understand this. Make believe for me, this world is real.

My body is real. My mind is real. Somebody robs me is real. Everything is real. It says, if that is the viewpoint, then this is the viewpoint of Charwa Charwa Kamens bodyminded in the I am reminding you Sri Krishna answered Arjuna, and from three different viewpoints, what is that? If you think this your body is real? Bhishma body is real. Bhishma is already one foot in the Grave. Even if you do not kill, he is going to die sooner or later. If you think you are the body, Bhishma will also be the body. And what is the nature of the body shadviKara. It is born, it grows and then it undergoes change. Then old age decease and death, this is normal. What is there to train? Why do we want to unnecessarily grieve for what is inevitable? But if you are thinking what is the second view?

The Dharma point of view. What is Dharma point of view? Bhishma, Drona very Dharmic people. And if you kill them as a result of their Dharma, where are they going to go to heaven? That means you are making them reach heaven quicker fast track. So you will also get Puniya where as a result of killing them because instead of living a long time, they are going very quickly to heaven. They will  reserve a seat for you. If you think you are the Atman, then they are also atman. Then there is no birth or death, etc. And that is what Sri Ramakrishna  is trying to tell us.

Deha budyasu dasoham

Jeeva budya tvaham sadha

Athma budya thvame vaham

Ithime nischitha mapi

three points of view. How beautifully correspond body point of view. dharma point of view is Kamala point of view and Atman point of view.

From either point of view, there is nothing you can do about it. So this is how Advaitha  counters everybody and say, If you think this world is true, Yes, there would be good. There will be evil, there'll be light, darkness, knowledge, ignorance, happiness, unhappiness. Heat and the cold and enemies, friends inevitable fact. Even God cannot change because the nature of something can never be changed by anybody. Even God cannot change. You cannot change the world. It will only make you happy and you will never be unhappy. Of course it does make us happy. In which state, deep sleep state. It makes it the  when I'm deeply the whole world is very happy. Whatever you take it.

Okay. What are we talking about? Aparata yutan I'm full of defects. I don't have good quality set or Oh mother, with this kind of personality, how am I going to ever progress either physically, externally, bodily or morally or spiritual all evolution all progress takes place in two different ways, two different terms for the same truth. Four types of progress from one point of view. Five types of progress from another point of view. What are those four types of progress? They are Physical, Intellectual, moral and spiritual. This is from one point of the same thing is put. Ananda has been classified into five types. Vishaya ananda, medananda, kalananda, dharmananda,  and brahmananda. Remember  so Vishaya ananda - on the pleasure that we get from object, sensory object then intellectual happiness that is meda and deeply understanding something whether it be science or music or art or anything.

This is intellectual happiness. Then what happiness? Artistic happiness. Cala  ananda then moral happiness which is called dharmananda and then last become bRahmananda best happiness. So a very human being is progressing towards this Apparata. We are talking about Apparata means what committing mistakes. So crimes  the greatest crime is not to grow spiritually, intellectually or in all these five ways.

Even let us enjoy better things. Are there even vishayananda there are huge difference from one person to another person strive. And how is it possible from Tama Guna to progress to Rajoguna progress to Sathva guna. aParatha do I see any way out? I do not have good qualities either Sathvika quality or Sathva guna born qualities like spiritual qualities etcetera. Even for worldly person. I'm telling you something. There is one now very wise person is called Dale Carnegie and he has a written beautiful books. One of the books is “How to stop worrying and start living”. In  that Wow. He is giving example after example. It is very useful even for us. If you are a spiritual person attending these classes and always worried, you better read that book and practice it and come to the class.

So what is it, Jo hona hoga ..jo nahi hoga nahi hoga.  Whatever is going to happen, it's going to happen. We'll do both of my head about it. I will do my best and whatever comes I have to accept no

question of simply thinking again and again why this happened, why this happened like a broken Gramm phone record. So the secret of happiness is you do what you can do and rest, make yourself very happy in that connection. Also he gives a beautiful example. The person who has the highest number for healthy habits. Hobbies it could be studying books. It could be even you enjoy a hobby is a habit where you enjoy something. It could be gardening. It could be reading mystery stories.

It could be watching movies, anything. Only condition is it should not do any harm to other people. This is the only condition provided this condition is fulfilled. You make yourself happy, do not become miserable.

Swami Vivekananda used to  say the day you feel cheerlessness, don't come out of your room, keep it locked doors, windows, everything. Let nobody know that you are a depressor fellow and much less so called spiritual person. So Oh mother, I do not have either. More of sathva guna or the offspring of sathva guna which are called ..

Abhayam stva samsudhdhihi or  you can the sttthapragna lakshanas  of the second chapter and the devotee’s lakshanas  s of the 12 th chapter. The ksetragna lakshanas   of the thirteenth chapter or the divine qualities of sixteenth chapter. None of these we have a little bit. We cannot say we do not have. But the quantity is very, very small. We have to increase. And that is God's spiritual powers.

Don't look for vision of God and other things. What do you find out? That if God doesn't appear, should I worry about it? Answer. If you are praying to God, meditating upon God and He chooses not to respond, what should be our reaction to it? I choose not to worry whether you appear or not. This is my duty. I decided to do it. The ball is in my court and I am going to do it now whether you want to reply to that ball or not. That is your headache, not my headache. This is beautifully illustrated by in one incident in the life of Sri Ramakrishna. Sri Ramakrishna tested Naren for one month and Sri Ramakrishna’s  testing is not an ordinary testing. So for one month he turned his turn his back to Narendra. And the great thing was Narendra did not stop visiting Sri Ramakrishna.

The moment Sri Ramakrishna smells this young man has come, he will turn deliberately against.

After one month he turned to Narendra. I don't talk to you. I indicated I don't want anything to look at you. Well, do you keep on coming? You know what Narendra answered, Sir. I am very happy to see you even go back. If you don't like to see me, that is your headache, not my headache. I know what gives me happiness. Most of our friends are like that. They don't care about our happiness. They come. You are happy or unhappy? I don't care. I am quite happy to come and have a good cup of  coffee or whatever it is your mother is giving or your wife is providing, et cetera. Anyway, this is a lesson we have to learn. Do yours whatever you want to do and learn how to be happy with that.

This is not in conflict with the idea that I may not have the longing. Why are you not coming? I'm weeping and weeping and weeping. My point is we have not reached that state. That is a very, very high state until the time. So you become very cheerful. People will start wondering what is the secret of your cheerfulness? Anyway, one small incident was there one Man and somewhere in America or somewhere. Early morning he was walking and then he came across one beggar. He was sitting roadside, covered himself with blanket. Oh, this so cheerful. You bet that he said, Good morning, Sir. The other fellow said, What good morning? What are you talking about? And just now I have been returning.

I returned from the war, Vietnam war or some or and I lost one of my legs. How do you expect me to be having cheerful? And the beggar removed his blanket.

He did not have both legs. Look here, Sir. I also returned from war. I lost both my legs.

If I am so cheerful, you should be doubly cheerful at least. You have got at least one  leg I am without both legs. say makes so much of difference between one human being and other human being. That's what. Aparada yutan - Mother kripayadya samuddhara moha-gatan - , please lift me up out of your compassion. So why is that? I do not have sathva guna. Why is it like on committing the same mistakes again and again Moha gatan. I am completely under the control of Moha. Moha means delusion. Delusion means I don't know what is my goal. I don't know who I am. I don't know what I am supposed to do.

Three things or the things, I am unaware of thava, I am unaware of  purushartah, I am unaware of the pathway to it. So that is why I am committing. I said, how do I know what is really the truth? But here is a person he has become to be aware. What is it that the that wise. I am Brahman. What is the purushartah? I am supposed to strive for self  realization. And I also am completely aware there is O Lord, as Chaitanya Maha prabhu says you have created a million names for yourself and every name. You endowed with the highest power. Equal power. And you have not put any kala niyama. You have to take bath. You have to sit with fresh clothes and rested with clean clothes and you have to sit in this way padmasana sukaAsana, whatever. Asana, absolutely no rules, no regulations under any circumstance. Take my name. Each name is endowed with infinite power. Such is Your Grace.

And what is my wretchedness, Even though I know about it, I have not been able to develop even a little bit of love for any one of your names. Chitanya Maha prabhu in Sikshashtaka. This beautiful verse is there that is worth the study Sikshashtaka. So this devote realizes. And then he says, Oh Mother, I am without any commendable qualities and I am fully overcome by your world. Bewitching Maya. But one good quality. I take refuge in you and I depend upon your compassion. Kripay adya samudhdhara  -oh  Mother. Lift me up to date, lifting me up today itself out of thy Grace. Then what quality? Mother? You have

Taranim bhava-sagara parakarim,

pranamami param Jananim jagatam.

You are the greatest ship greatest ship. So usually the also it is the boat. Why do I use the word ship? Because a boat is not very comfortable. If you were to choice between a boat ship, first class cruise, Queen Elizabeth.

We heard about a Queen is book, you know, 5 6 stories huge ship. And when there are swimming pools, there are seven star hotels. You name it. It is available. The Divine Mother raised the greatest ship in this world and who is the pilot or pilot. As and Mother. So any other pilot might commit because she created the ocean. She created the ship. She knows where she created all these ups and downs, dangerous place, etc so she can take us safely. Tarani m- e. She's the greatest ship. And what for the ship is meant. Sri Ramakrishna bava sagara tharana karanahe -  Ravi Nandana kandana. And who is Ravi nandana? Who Ravi means sun - what is the son of sun? Yama dharma raja.  You rescue a person from the bondage of death. And how?

Because body don't think that with the body, we live forever. It gives the knowledge. You are not the body. You are not the body. Also, there is the question of death. Doesn't arise at all. Bava Sagara Parakarim. The ultimate goal is Moksha ordinary person. What does he say? What does he desire? Dharma, Artha  and kama. His knowledge comes to an end.

This is the greatest goal of life. But a little bit, by the Grace of the Mother, a little bit more of this knowledge comes. There are unimaginable treasures beyond this, Dharma, Artha  and kama. And what is the collective name for that is called Moksha? Complete liberation. Liberation means knowledge comes. You don't go anywhere. But what I said, I don't need to go anywhere because I am not the body.

I am everywhere. I can't go anywhere because I am everywhere. I am the Atman. That is the knowledge which the Divine Mother is ready to give, which Lord Shiva is ready to give. Kashi, don't sit in Ulsoor. And then Shiva will come running. Do you have to work there? So please come. I'm inviting all of you sitting here. I should have gone there and invited you. So next year, make plan and come. We will have wonderful classes there. And you have got one beautiful excuse for that. You know, what is our excuse?

That, whether you understand it or not, it makes no difference. Why? Because you are going to be liberated, whether you understand or not. Attend or not. Yeah. So one consideration is there, you know? No. Just now, the third came, probably don't come.

Because if you come, you will not attend classes. What is the point of class to obtain Moksha? But there Sivas ready to give Moksha. You don't need to do attend any class there. Anyway. My second thought, you. But you can also enjoy the whole lot.

So. Oh, Mother, I do not have any good qualities. On the other hand, I have got all evil qualities because of which I commit lot of evils. So what is good? That which makes me go towards God is good. That which binds me, that is called evil. So  by Grace ADIA. Right now, I don't want you to wait any longer. Samudhdhar -  the uplift me from this condition by granting knowledge. What is that knowledge? I am your child. And you are Divine Mother. I am your child. If I am your child, who am I? I am also divine.

Taranim bhava-sagara parakarim,

pranamami param Jananim jagatam.

This idea is further elaborated in the next verse, which we will see our next class.
