Very useful. Everything Maharaj is useful to everybody, I think. No, there are certain things which are specially meant for spiritual aspirants. But that advice is very good even in worldly life. You know, we can only... One of the points why we should not expect the results because the results are always in future and the future is always uncertain. There was a beautiful story. There was a foolish king and he once ordered his horse keeper to train this horse to fly. The man said, I will do that, but I need three years' time and I require plenty of money. Come, Srikanth. Why so late today? So, three years, great amount of money. Now, one of the friends of this horse keeper said, foolish fellow, why did you accept? Do you think that a horse can really fly? If you don't train it, your head will go, because the king said. So, the man was a philosopher. He said, you see, first of all, there are three years' time. Who knows, the king may die, the horse may die, or I also may die. Meanwhile, why not enjoy the money that I am going to get? This Tenari Ramakrishna, plenty of wonderful stories are there. Once, Krishnadevaraya was very angry with him. So, you know what he did? He gave a cat. He gave a milk cow, very good milk cow, and he gave a cat and said, this milk, first of all, should be given to the cat and only after what it drinks, you can have. And that cow will give only enough milk for the cat. That means what? This fellow has to take the trouble of looking after the cow, feeding it, and the result, that's punishment. So, after some time, Krishnadevaraya came there to see and this cat was almost on the verge of death. Then he asked, are you not feeding the cat? He said, I am trying my level best to feed it, but it won't drink. The cat will not drink milk. Come on, bring the cat. So, this fellow brought the milk, a big bowl full of milk, and brought the cat. The moment the cat saw that milk, he simply ran away. Then that fellow caught hold of the scruff of the neck and what he did, he struggled, beat him and ran away. See, Your Highness, this is the condition. I am trying to feed it. And the king could not do anything to him. He came to enjoy the spectacle that he will be punishing Ramakrishna. What this fellow did first today, he boiled the milk, brought the cat, and dipped its face in the boiling milk. That was it. And the rest of the time, this fellow was enjoying the milk himself. So, bhavishyat is always unknown. People may die, and that's what is happening every single day. So, even from that point of view, live today. Today is in your hands. You can do whatever you need to do, whatever you can do today. But you don't know what's going to happen tomorrow. So, from that point of view, even worldly people should at least not worry about things. And that's very good. That is the advice given. What happens is most of the people, they give up when they are not getting the expected results. That is the problem with this. That is where this verse is highly useful. The farmers, you know, how many farmers, they work so hard, and then just before harvest, even if the harvest is 100% ready, a big rain may come, spoil, rot the whole lot, and then go away. It's happening all the time. Or there may not be enough. Sometimes, you know, certain crops require a particular type of rain a few times before the harvest can be given. So, mango season, you know, you notice several years mangoes fail, and one year it is a bumper crop. And that time, even the England market, the UK market, will be flooded with good mangoes. Nowadays, good mangoes are coming only here. In India also. There are some mangoes in India which cannot be exported. We know Alphonso has become very popular because it has the quality of keeping. But now they are plucking it, you know, I don't get much taste. Rarely I get the taste. Earlier time, how sweet and flavorful it was. But now what they are doing, they are plucking it early, and then packing it and artificially trying to ripen it. All for the sake of profit. Yeah. So, Bhagavad Gita, Mahatma Gandhi used to say, you know, whenever I have any problem, I turn to Bhagavad Gita and say, Oh Mother, give me guidance. And invariably it gave me guidance and showed me the way. Yeah, some people use Bhagavad Gita as an oracle. Some people use Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna as an oracle. Some people use Bible as an oracle. You know what is oracle? Predicting the what should I do, what should I not do. Many Hindus use Ramcharitmanas. There is one, this thing, Ramprashna, something like that. Ramprashna. There is Prashna, you know, like a big square. So there is a procedure. You put your question and you pick up some words like that. But now online, they do everything for you. All that you need to do is only the question. Because we are all anxious to know what is going to happen in future. Yeah, we are all people like that. So, any questions? I've got a question. Yes. You were talking earlier about Karma Yoga. I mean, I left my job. Is that bad thing the attachment? Is it bad, the attachment to it? Because I love it, I'm having an attachment for it. You see, loving is good. Attachment is not good. But if you love, that's an attachment. So, first let us explore what is. Supposing you are asked to do some other job. So we have got three types of attachments. If you have heard, according to Ramanuja, there are three types of attachments that usually accompany action. The first, lowest, grossest is phalasakti. We don't care for the action. Most of the people don't love their work. They love only the results. There was this lady. She was engaged to a boy. And the boy gave her a very costly diamond ring. Remember? Diamond ring. And everybody admired her. And after a few days, this lady broke off that engagement. But still she was wearing the ring. She asked her, what happened? You are still wearing the ring. We heard that you broke off the engagement. That lady said, yes, I don't like the boy, but I like this ring. I have not broken off the engagement with the ring. This is only to the boy. For most people, action is only for what benefits it is going to bring us. For example, take the normal example of marriage. Most people marry for the sake of marriage or for the sake of the result. The result means, you know, they want to enjoy. What type of... for a man, he spelt out, Bhariya Manoramam Dehi. She should be extremely captivating to his mind. Manoratta Anusarini. She must absolutely obey whatever I ask her to do. The other way round, no. Whatever I desire her, she must be a good cook, she must be a good servant, she must be a good masseur, so she must be a good singer, good dancer. What do you give to her? That's none of my business. None of our business. This is what Chandi. Bhariya Manoramam Dehi, Manoratta Anusarini, Rupam Dehi, Jayam Dehi, Yashod Dehi, Dvishoj Dehi. Every one of us, we expect. But suppose somebody says, good or bad, happiness or unhappiness, we are here to help each other. That marriage will be a very successful marriage. So one person loves and the other person doesn't love. That's not going to work out well. See, both marriage means it is a partnership. Anyway, so the first is phala shakti. Most people, they will immediately give up whatever they are doing if they think their expected results are not going to come. That is the lowest, grossest. The next higher is, I explained, attachment to the work. Some people love their work. What is the problem with that? Loving is not the problem. But for some reason, if that person has to do some other job, then he feels he is walking on a bed of thorns. That is not desirable, especially for spiritual people. Wherever God keeps you, be happy about it. So this is the attachment to the work. Some people, they are not attached to the results. You know, for example, nowadays most people, even executives, they say, we love gardening. It doesn't matter if they are good gardeners or not, but they love the job. Some people want to do woodwork. You know, Henry Marsh is a well-known neurological surgeon. So this person, he did marvellous surgery. Now he bought one cottage. Just he wants to do some woodwork. But whether he is going to be a very good woodworker or not, that is not the point. He loves the work. But suppose it is not possible, he is asked to do some gardening job. Then he will feel unhappy about it. So you love your job, but be ready to switch allegiance if it is necessary. But much subtler than both these is our egotism. Ego hurts. Whether people smile at us or not, whether people praise us or not, we are always expecting something. And if people do not behave accordingly, we get very hurt. It is said, in Australia somewhere, a tribal area, the husband regularly beats the wife three times a day. Supposing he gets tired and starts beating her only twice a day, she becomes very unhappy. Why has he stopped beating me? Is he turning his attention to some other woman? One funny incident, I don't know whether I related it to you. I was in Cherrapunji. And then in Shillong, my predecessor Swami Bhavyanandaji was at Shillong. And he did a lot of extensive work. So once he was travelling in a car, driver, chauffeur driven car. And he himself could drive very well. One day he took me from here. We were going for some retreat. Some fellow passed him. Swami looked at him and said, How dare you pass me? So he went, ooo, like that, and then showed his thumb like that. You can't simply do like that. You know people get road rage? All sorts of stupid fellows, people even kill. This road rage, road rage, aeroplane rage and cycle rage, all sorts of psychological problems are springing up now. So this Swami was going one day somewhere in Nagaland. Towards that, he was travelling from Shillong. On the way, the Swami noticed one man was beating his wife. Very hefty man, beating his scrawny wife, black and blue. And the Swami could not tolerate it. And the driver was very hefty fellow. So Swami asked, see, told the driver, You go and stop, threaten that fellow. So this fellow went and threatened the husband, You stop beating your wife. You know what happened? The wife took out a broom and started beating the driver and said, Who the hell are you to threaten my husband? You are a third person. And that fellow could not do anything because that was true. He simply came back and said, Swami, never again in future ask me to interfere between a husband and wife. Peculiar things are there. Anyway, three asaktis. What is the problem now? We are not saying you should not love. Loving is one thing. Getting attached is one thing more. This attachment is going to land us in problem. So a Sishya may be attached to the Guru. A devotee may be attached to the Swami. You know, that's what happens. When the Swami is transferred or he retires or something, they feel very bad. And it happens in such a horrible manner. See, each Swami will have his own set of admirers. This business is very peculiar business. And if that Swami goes away and a new Swami comes, the old devotees, they don't like the new Swami. Whereas in the world, when a woman marries, because husband is also called Swami, the new Swami is loved more than the old Swami. But sometimes this also happens. There was this funny story. One day a discussion was going on. Have you seen any perfect man? Everybody said, no, we have not seen any perfect man. Have you heard about any perfect man? All the people said, no, excepting one man. He said, I have heard about a perfect man. So the leader of the discussion group glared at him and said, who told you? He said, you know, I married a woman who was married once before. Whenever I do something, she says, my first husband used to do it perfectly. I heard about it. Anyway, there was this in the church, there was a discussion. Is there anybody who doesn't obey the wife? Any husband who doesn't obey the wife? Are there anybody? Oh, the discussion was getting heated up. Then the priest announced, all those people who claim that, you know, they obey their wives, they never go against, step to the left side. All of them have turned to the left. Only one fellow was there on the right side. What is the implication? He doesn't obey his wife. No, no, no, he is married. The discussion will not come with unmarried people. So the priest glared at him and asked, John, do you mean to say that you don't obey your wife? He said, no, no, I did not say that I obey my wife. Then why are you not moving to the left side? He said, before coming to the church, my wife specially instructed me, wherever there are many people, don't move. So, we have to love our action. Whatever work we do, if we don't love, the question of offering it to God doesn't arise. Loving a job is the first step in offering it to God. We have to offer it to God for a Karma Yogi. So if a person doesn't love a job, will he become a Karma Yogi? No, he can't. It's not possible. So what is meant by disinterested work is called Karma Yoga. Disinterested means what? You love the work wholeheartedly, you pay all the concentration you can bring to bear upon it, but you won't be interested in the result. That is the meaning of Karma Yoga. But that can be misconstrued. If I am not interested, then why should I do any Karma at all? That is the problem that comes to us. The answer is, it will come. But what type of result do you really want? So there is a beautiful story, you know. These are all old stories. There was a man, he had a son, and the man used to go shopping. Sometimes he would take the boy along with him. This is in India. So you know, in summer season, the berry fruits come. That big seed will be there inside. What do you call it? Berry. Some kind of berry. Whatever, you understand. So that is the season. You know there are two types. One is small, big seed and very little essence. But the other one is very big. This big. It will also have big seed, but the flesh is quite good, very good sometimes. And that tree is full of thorns. But still we used to climb, and then pick it up and then eat. Anything free. It doesn't matter. It is a challenge, you know, how to climb and then get this. Sometimes that is very tasty if it is red. I don't know whether you have ever seen these fruit trees. Once I was in Dehradun for almost a month. And that is a place where you go. This is Goa, Goa fruit, Jampandu. Oh my God, there are many varieties. One particular variety in North India, and inside it is red. Pink. Pink color. And very few seeds. And very sweet. And this garden is full of this. And you know the birds, parrots and all those birds, they will come and they will peck, and many fruits will be falling. And it is said, if a parrot pecks a fruit and it falls, it will be very tasty. That's why Bhagavatams are Shuka Shuka Mukha Travantam. Bhagavatam came out of the mouth of Shukadeva. And the meaning of word Shuka means Shukadeva. Shuka means parrot. Both it means. So this fruit called Bhagavatam, because it has come out of his mouth. Anyway, the fruits fall down. So I used to walk. There's nothing much to do. And so tempting. You take that fruit. One part is a little bit broken, rotten. You exclude that part. The rest of it is heaven. But how many can you eat? Because it's plenty. Plenty of these fruits. Anyway, this season, this whole cart, you know, they put one small, this moving cart. Puchka and other things they sell. Like that, it's full. So the man went, and he took this boy with him. And the man purchased something. And the shopkeeper, seeing a small boy, he said, Baba, you can take some fruits. So that fellow was glaring at the fruits, but not putting his hand. Two, three times the shopkeeper told him, take whatever you want. But he would glare at him, but he would not touch the fruits. So the shopkeeper thought, the boy must be very shy. So the shopkeeper himself put. And the moment the shopkeeper gave, he put his shirt there, and he took it. And then he was going. The father caught hold of his, twisted his hair and said, you fellow, when the shopkeeper asked you three times, you did not put out your hands. Why? This fellow looked at his father and said, Dad, don't you see? His hands are bigger than mine. If I had taken, I would have got only this much. But because he gave, I got a lot. That is the belief of Karma Yogi, because the Karma Yogi expects God to look after. And God's hands are smaller or big? And what can God give? What can God give? This is a question. What can a pundit give? Knowledge. What can God give? What can fire give? Heat. What can light give? Light. What can God give? Happiness. Only God. Only God can give only God, because he has nothing else. That is the difference between human beings and God. Because human beings have got two things, me and my. So he can give whatever is mine. My money, my books, my fruits, whatever. My clothes, etc. But God doesn't have something called mine. He has got only one, I. So he can give only what? Himself. Like fire, fire and the heating power are not separate. Even light and its illumining power are not separate. That is the idea, that if you leave it to God, then God will look after you. And then what will he think that if you leave everything to God, what will he give? He will give worldly things or he will give himself? He will give himself. That is called Karma Yoga. There is a lot of beautiful meaning behind this Karma Yoga. Same thing, Karma Yoga can be practiced by anybody and should be practiced by everybody. Because otherwise disappointments will come in life. So many people suffer. Every day you hear this horrible news. The other day, 2-3 days before, some 250 people were in Egypt. That too, when the people went to pray in the mosque, and who killed them? Muslims. Their own people. Muslims are killing Muslims. It is so horrible even to contemplate on it. Komati, you don't want to take something? Yes. So this is the problem with the world. The violence seems to be growing selfishness, and in future it will be more horrible. Do you know why? Why? Very simple. Population is growing. There is a capacity of the earth, how much it can sustain. By 2030, they are expecting 9 billion people. Now it is about 7 billion. Another 2 billion people. And to give them food and drinkable water, and then houses, is going to become very difficult. And people are also living longer and longer. This was a problem addressed by an Israeli historian. He has written a very thought-provoking book, Homo Deus, A Brief History of Tomorrow. Brief history means what, actually? That happened in the past. This is a brief history of tomorrow. So he is outlining, artificial intelligence is growing. And there are so many people, millions and millions are going to lose their jobs. Just today I read the news, it is in France, somewhere, I forget the name. They are going to introduce driverless cars within another 4-5 years' time. Driverless cars means what? Driverless cars means what? The drivers will be jobless. That's what it means. Deduction, you know deduction? Sherlock Holmes and Watson, they went out for a night, they wanted to camp, night. They had bought a nice tent, and they had enjoyed the day, and they went to bed. And suddenly, both of them woke up at midnight. And Sherlock Holmes asked Watson, what do you see? Oh, I see the beautiful stars, the moonlight, the birds singing, and all that. He went on describing. He said, you stupid fellow, somebody stole our tent. You went to bed in the tent and now you are seized. What does that mean? So driverless cars means what? Drivers are losing their jobs. So, they are predicting 60 million people would lose their jobs. Just imagine what is the impact of this upon life. A man wants to work. First of all, without work, people will go mad. It is part of our constitution. You must have some work. Even monks must have some work. You know what work? Studying scriptures, and understanding it, and conveying it, passing it on to other people. Something should be there. Okay, that is the first. So, if man doesn't have work, maybe you give him money, you give him food, you satisfy all the requirements of life, he will go mad. That is why people after retirement, you know what happens? Unless they have something to engage them, either they die soon, or they go mad. They start misbehaving. So, this is one of the biggest problems it is outlining. Then artificial intelligence is going to, it will make most intelligent people also redundant. And it is already happening. And so many jobs will be lost. And the questions raised by this author, first of all, who is going to provide sufficient money for these people to live? So, will the government take the initiative that okay, we are using AI, now so many people are redundant, and we must look after them. Will they take? Most of the countries, they are not ready to do that. For example, industrialists, any big company, they are ready to produce as many number of jobs as possible and use artificial intelligence and do it. So, who is going to look after them? And in the future, this medical care, etc., is going to be increasingly costly. You know, the more discoveries are going on, it is also increasing the cost of looking. And then people are living longer. That means they are not dying. One man has written a book in America. It is the duty of every man and woman above 60 to die. Yes. And it looks funny. What nonsense are you talking about? But what is going to happen to the younger generation? Because one thing is very important now. The younger people are likely to get jobs rather than the older people. What is the logic? No, no. The older we become, the lesser we are receptive to changes. You know, technology, learning curve. So, we prefer to stick with what we know. People may be honest, people may be hardworking, people may be very faithful, but they are not ready to learn new things. Whereas, what is the younger people's mindset? They quickly adapt to many things. This is the reason why they want to. And second thing, now you have noticed there is a shift from permanent job to contract, contractual. Contract means what? Anytime we can break this relationship. So, that is the reason. We can break this relationship. So, that seeks to be better, more profitable than permanent job. Okay. And then pensions have become less now. Have you noticed it? Practically, pensions are gone. Even the old people who are supposed to get pensions, most people are not going to get because the government invested and they lost. This is a very worrying type of thing that is happening. Okay. When Artificial Intelligence grows sufficiently, will there be any difference between old people and young people? People themselves are redundant. Because Artificial Intelligence means exactly that. There is no difference. Now they are employing younger people because younger people are more flexible, ready to receive and they can adopt. But when there are machinists doing it, it doesn't go on strike. It will do 24 hours a day and it will not go on a hunger strike and all those things. So, like that, there are advantages. But there is also a terrible fear that this Artificial Intelligence may take over and destroy human beings. Actually, when Artificial Intelligence grows to such an extent and this was the scientific story of the 2001 odyssey, this hall, this robo, Asimov has written this book. Isaac Asimov. Then finally one man, even at the risk of his death, he will disable that. This hall is telling... What was his name? The other person? David? I think David. David, do not destroy me. Don't do this. Don't do that. But that fellow decided. Because it killed already so many of the people in the spaceship. Wonderful story. So that danger is there, but then that danger comes from human beings. Because an Artificial Intelligence is created by whom? By humans. So finally, who destroyed? Like the Christian theology. They don't accept evil comes from God. That is one of the biggest problems with Christian theology. We see so much of suffering and death and injustice. Who is responsible? Because if God has created the world, then who should be responsible? God. But Hinduism accepts it. Srishti, Stithi and Laya. Whereas these Christians, these what is called Abrahamic religions, Semitic religions, they don't accept it. Then there is evil. There must be somebody responsible. They say, oh, Saturn had done that. Saturn. Now the question comes, who created Saturn? If it is answered, God did not create. That means God also is eternal and Saturn also is eternal. But that is not tenable because first of all, God will not be God if there are two. And God cannot do anything. What type of God is He? If He cannot prevail against Saturn, then what kind of God is He? Our idea of God is that He is everywhere and He is all-powerful and He is all-good and He is all-knowing. Four characteristics of God. You know that? We assume that first of all, God should be everywhere. Because if I am in trouble here in Bownen and God happens to be in Maidenhead, how is He going to help me? He should be right where I am. That is the first characteristic of God. Second, He should be all-knowing. Because He is here, but He doesn't know why I am suffering. What kind of God is that? What good will He do to me? So He should be all-knowing. That means what is the cause, what is the remedy, etc. Will that be sufficient? Two characteristics? No. Because He should be all-powerful. That means He should have the capacity to change, to help me. If I am killing somebody, He should help me to kill somebody. If somebody else is killing me, then He should protect me. He should do both jobs. So He should be all-powerful. Will He do? One more component is necessary. Yes, He is here, He is everywhere, He knows everything and He can do anything. But He doesn't feel like doing it. So He should be all-compassionate, all-love. Only when these four characteristics are present, then He is called, He deserves the title God. Maharaj in the Gospel, when Thakur said, when the Sikhs came and He said... They said, God is compassionate. Ramakrishna said, why do you call Him compassionate? They said, should we not call Him compassionate? Then Ramakrishna said, no. Because He who has created us, if He is doing something for us, why should you call Him compassionate? So a mother has given birth to children and if she doesn't look after the children, then she will not be called a mother. She is a rakshasi. But if she is looking after the children, will you say that she is very compassionate? No, she is not compassionate, it is her duty. So in fact, this is bhakta's language. If God is our father and mother, then whatever He is doing for us is His duty. And if He doesn't do it, He will be doing bad karma. Because anybody who neglects his duty, he will incur sin. What Ramakrishna meant is that we should consider God as our very own. So not that we should not call Him compassionate, we should feel, will a child go on saying to its mother, Mother, how compassionate you are, you are looking after me. He will not say. Simply he will say, you are my mother, and he will not even think about it. And if she doesn't do, he will start crying. That is the idea. That intimacy, that deep love towards God, that is what is wanted. This is what Ramakrishna was telling. So the problem is, who created Saturn? God. If God had created Saturn, then who created evil? Ultimately God created. Can God create evil? That is one of the very crucial questions is, can God create evil? Is He capable of creating evil? Yes. Can God create evil? No. Because to be able to create evil, He should be evil. Only an evil person can create evil. Only a good person can give goodness. Only a happy person can give happiness, is it not? So how can God create evil? Therefore, whatever we see is not evil. There must be some meaning in it. Nothing is an evil. So Shiva is considered the destroyer. What do you mean by destroyer? Supposing in the Bhagavad Gita's language, Vasaramsi jernani yatha vihaya Navani grhnati naraha aparani Just as we discard old and worn out useless clothes and put on new clothes. So what is Shiva's business now? To supply new dress. He takes away the old dress and supplies new dress. Will you call him destroyer? That is why he is not destroyer. He is called layakarta. Laya means to merge back into its constituent elements. So no destruction is ever possible, even according to science. According to science, everything is matter. Somebody asked, what is the matter? He said, don't mind. And the fellow asked, what is the mind? He said, it doesn't matter. So according to Vedanta, both matter and mind are two different states. Nothing different. That's why even mind is called a subtle body. What is subtle body? That which cannot be experienced through our physical, five sense organs is called mind. The modern scientists have absolutely not an iota of idea about what is called mind. They don't know what is mind. All that they know is the brain. Because if the brain is dysfunctional, will the mind function? No. How do we know that a person is thinking, mind is functioning? How do we know? Through certain actions. You are happy, you are unhappy, you desire to do it, you don't desire to do it. It is only through physical expression. Like electricity. How do you know there is electricity? One Swami put it so funnily, you know. Very nice. One household suddenly light everything on. So she told her child, her son, go to the neighboring house, see whether there is electricity. This fellow went. You know the lights were on, the fan was going, the heater was going. So he asked, my mom sent me to find out if there is electricity in your home. He is a child. When a grown-up person says, the moment you see light, that means electricity, then it is inferred. Now the problem is, if all these fan and heater and light are not being used, then do we know whether there is electricity or not? That is where Vedanta comes and tells, that you don't see consciousness, and mind only acts through consciousness, borrows consciousness, and acts as if it has consciousness. It thinks, it says, I think. Who will think? There was a competition going on. Three people, including one, G, so what is the test? If anybody tells a lie, then there is a machine. Immediately it will find out. It will go boom like that, it will go boom like that. So the American, Englishman, and this G, this American, he said, I think, I think I can eat a hundred burgers. Boom, like that, that machine has gone. The Englishman said, I think I can eat fifty apple pies. Boom, like that. The other fellow said, I think, boom. So, these people, you know, because we don't see the consciousness, people have concluded that consciousness doesn't exist. If at all it is there, if there is a brain, then consciousness is there. If brain is not there, then consciousness is not there. So same thing, problem, person is dead. Body is there like that. Immediately after death, the body looks exactly like the living body. But then you don't see any prana, you don't see any consciousness. But you conclude thereby that the person has no consciousness. Vedanta says that's wrong. There is consciousness. Just as, how do you know there is electricity if none of these things are on? So a body, dead body means these things are not functioning. You follow what I am saying? Suppose the bulb is fused. How do you know that there is electricity? If there are other bulbs, suppose there is only one bulb and it is fused, and the electricity, whether it is there or not, how will you know? Swami was giving this kind of talk. One fellow got interested, how do we know? The Swami said, if you want to know, there is that plug point. Put your finger there. And then the Swami said, you will not know whether electricity is there or not. We will know. So we have to believe certain things because certain things are not available for the physical experience. That is why faith is needed. That is where faith comes in. That is where faith is needed. Sir, if you see someone who is unconscious from a head injury or whatever, what is actually going on there? What is going on? Whatever that person knows, whatever that person's samskaras, everything is there. But there is no manifestation because the manifesting instrument is not available there. Simple, you know. A person is in deep sleep, even Einstein is in deep sleep. Is Einstein a scientist or just Einstein the man? Only the man. His knowledge is totally useless. It is only when he wakes up, then he is. So we have to trust that there is life after death and there is consciousness and whatever we acquire in this life is going to accompany us in the next life also. That is a matter of faith. And sometimes through effects, we can guess the cause. Suppose you see a three-year-old child playing, singing beautifully raga or playing tabla, etc. What do you need to conclude? Is it possible for a three-year-old child to have all the perfect knowledge? On YouTube, it is there. One small girl, this Bombay Jayashree, is trying to sing. Before she opened her mouth, this girl says, Mohan Raga. The lady got angry and said, let me at least sing a few minutes. The moment I started, you started saying it is Mohan Raga, it is Bhoopali Raga, like that. That is the problem. So wherefrom this knowledge has come? Because it is not known.
