Went to the airport and entered that, you know, revolving door. So, then he got confused, should he go in or should he come out? You are right Maharaj, you know. I arrived on 6th, still I am around here for one and a half months. So, this is given as a comparison to people, you know, whose spiritual determination is not strong. Shall I remain in samsara or shall I get out of samsara? Unable to make up their minds, this struggle goes on. So, that is the fact. The moment a person's mind is determined, 100%, that very moment his fate is sealed. Come. So, mom is still here. Bhai. Oh. So, you know, I have always this saying, three days a guest, after three days he is a ghost. What? How are you, Maharaj? I am keeping very well. Always very well. Yes. Very happy. He is happy. He is watching. He is watching. See. Too young for chocolates. Too young for chocolates, not too old for crying. He is examining, correction, correction. See, mom, there. Mom and grandma. You found a new babysitter. Laptop, you know. See, one person has come. Hello. You want to go? I will go. Come on. Very doubtful proposition. He is not looking at anyone else. Doubtful proposition. He likes people. Yes, yes. Very sociable person. See, there was one devotee and he got a baby. So, the mother, one day she took the baby for the blessings of Sri Ramakrishna to Dakshineshwar. And that day, Sri Ramakrishna was waiting, as if. Usually, he doesn't wait, as though he was eagerly waiting. The moment this lady reached, Amar janne ki niyescho, what have you brought for me? Then she brought out from inside. And Sri Ramakrishna took the baby and said, Very good, very good. This belongs to me. Then handed back and then said, You bring him up carefully. When the time comes, I will take him to myself. So, this boy slowly, he started going to Belur mart and slowly meeting Swami. Very interesting story. There was Swami Turiyananda. He became very intimate with Swami Turiyananda. And by the side of Turiyananda ji, the room of Swami Brahmananda ji was there. But this boy doesn't dare to go. So, one day Swami Turiyananda ji, he sent him forcefully, Go and meet Swami Brahmananda. So, reluctantly, he entered because Brahmananda ji usually was very grave. But that day, the moment the boy came, he touched him and smiled. And from that day, he stopped going to Swami Turiyananda and only Swami Brahmananda. And then Swami Brahmananda, one day, he saw Swami Turiyananda and said, Hari bhai, I have stolen your disciple. And Hari Maharaj said, the boy is really blessed. So, anybody who has captured Swami Brahmananda ji was such a person. He could give Brahma Jnana to people whom he liked. He was pleased with. So, there was Swami Nirvanananda. He served Swami Brahmananda for nearly 14 years. And with what devotion! Swami Brahmananda ji used to get up at about 3 o'clock in the morning. So, this Sevak, Swami Suji, he had to get up before 3 o'clock. And in those days, there were no attached bathrooms. So, on the roof, you know where Swami ji used to live? There was a roof, there was a toilet at the end of that roof. So, sun, rain, they had to walk. Swami Brahmananda ji would get up, go to the toilet. On the way back, this Sevak had to prepare warm water in winter season for Maharaj to wash his hands. It used to be very cold in winter season, no central heating or anything. So, like this, sometimes Raja Maharaj will be going there. This Sevak is standing with this pot, warm water pot. Raja Maharaj will give him one slap. No reason, no reason like that. So, then it is painful because Swami Brahmananda ji was very strong, very painful. And that is why she is sitting at a long distance. Chhat kore to pranam kore, doore gayi uthro. Because she knows that I know all these stories very well. Like this, without any reason, early morning, what this person has done? He got up early, got ready, everything. Fourteen years he served, so many times he got scolding, so many times he got slaps. Not one single word. Then Swami Brahmananda ji, in 1922, he was sick. He was about to pass away. Then he called and said, Suji, you served me very well. I am so pleased. You will get Brahma Jnana. So, if anybody promises me Brahma Jnana, I am ready to take any number of slaps. Any one of you will be there. Now and then slaps, you know, but you are guaranteed Brahma Jnana. So, like that, his blessings and it came true. Swami Nirvanananda. Before Bharata Maharaj became the manager, he was the manager. And then later on, he became vice president. So, when he became vice president, a total transformation had come over him. So, what happened, you know, Sevaks will bring food and he will not touch. He will sit hours together. Then people thought, maybe brain has gone off. Brain, he is examining. Yes, that is, that is Sudhi. Ah, she is, she is, she is, she is. He saw your face. First he thought it is, oh, maybe I know. I don't know about that. So, Kishore, where are you going now? Back to Coventry. We are in London. Oh, you came to London and on the way you are going back. Good. So, what time you will reach? Another two hours? One, one and a half hours. One and a half hours. Very good. Yes. So, like that, it is very good. Like that on the way you can come. If you are going to London or if you are going back home or airport or back from India, like that, you know. That is the opportunity. Swamikarya and Swakarya, both. Swakarya is going, Swamikarya means, you know, coming on the way and getting the benefit of blessings of Sri Ramakrishna and all that. So, we will have both ways, as we were telling about. Yes, it is almost on the way. M40, just five minutes from M40. So, it is absolutely fine. You want to have some tea, coffee? Thank you very much. No, no, we are all right. No, no, sure. This is our home, you know, here. Always I say that, you know, ashram is my second home. This is very partial, not first home. Second home. Second home. So, this Surji Maharaj, people thought something has gone wrong with the brain, but then they noticed that sometimes his disciples, they will have some doubts. So, they will come and say, Maharaj, I have some doubts. Oh, is it so? You come at three o'clock. Three o'clock, perfect gentleman. He will talk, he will solve their doubts, answer their doubts and bless them and again promptly become mad. Mad means indifferent. Same thing happened to Chandrasekhar Saraswati of Sringeri Peetham. He also became mad. He will take off his cloths and sit inside for days together. He will not meet people, he will not talk, he will not go for bathing, he will not eat food, like that. His manager once, Shri Kantaiah was there, used to lock him up. Literally lock him up. Because such was the manager's power, you know, they want to keep the Swamis under their control. So, people thought he was mad. But the Maharani of Mysore, she was highly devoted to Swami. So, now and then she used to visit, once she visited. At that time, the Swami was not always mad. Some one month, two months, he will be like that. Then he will be okay. Then he will be allowed to come outside and do normal things. Then again, suddenly he will go into that mood. So, when he was in that mood, this Maharani once visited. And she wanted to meet the Swami, because she had something very urgent to discuss. Then the manager told, Swami is not okay. I want at least to see him. I will make pranams and I will not disturb him. So, his room, his windows were above this, you know. So, one cannot see, peek inside and see. So, this lady, she went just to make pranams in the morning. She didn't want even to let the Swami know that she was there. She made pranams, got up from inside, the voice came. My daughter, come at three o'clock. I will speak with you. She was so happy. She never expected. She did not know how he knew that she was making pranams. Then she came at three o'clock, door was open. Gentleman sitting there spoke with her for 45 minutes and solved all her problems. She was so happy and she came out through Sri Kantaiah. And then promptly he became mad. He threw off his clothes and started sitting there, you know, that is a peculiar mood. What do you call it? Selective madness. Such a great soul. And nobody, this manager, Sringeri Mata manager on Sri Kantaiah, very notorious. He saw so many Shankaracharyas like that. The only Shankaracharya I heard who could control was one, Chandrasekhar Bharti, he could control. So what happened, one day, this place is called Sringeri. It is a small village. The Mata is on the banks of Godavari. Tungabhadra, sorry, Tungabhadra. Beautiful place, Tungabhadra. Beautiful river, small river, but very beautiful. And it is such a serene place on the banks of the Tungabhadra. And the very place itself will charm you. So this Swami, who could control this, he was the only one. And there was one Pariya village outside. You know Brahmins? They would not even look at a Pariya in those days. So one day, Swami was talking to some Brahmins. Suddenly He said, I want to visit Pariya village. And this Srikanthaya, he was the manager. So he had the privilege of holding a white umbrella. That was the protocol. Whenever the Swami moves, a white umbrella. So Mahasannidhanam, that is the way of addressing. Mahasannidhanam, Pariya village. It is not in our tradition. Swami looked at him and started walking. He had no option but to run behind the Swami with that umbrella. So he didn't like it. His face showed that, and many other Brahmins also were following him. None were happy. So he was going, you know, all dirty houses, sewage canals, and these dogs, and children, naked children, and you can imagine, slum area. Suddenly he stopped. Srikanthaya, can you tell who are these people? Mahasannidhanam, I don't know Swami. You know who they are? They are all past managers of our month. Past managers of our month. What can Srikanthaya say? He had that capacity to do. And that Chandrasekhar Bharati, he was a great mantrik. He was called master of mantras. So I will tell you one or two incidents. Once what happened, these mornings generally the Shankaracharyas do the puja. That is Chandra Maulishwara Puja or Sharada Amba Puja. Sannyasins are allowed to do only two pujas. Shiva Puja, Saraswati Puja. They call Sharada. That's why our mother is Sharada Amba. Sri Ramakrishna worshipped mother Sharada. Mahasaraswati gandhi tesheche. That was Sri Ramakrishna's comment about Holy Mother. So once what happened, the Swami did puja. Often a lot of people gather, mostly Brahmins. After the puja is over, the Swami will distribute theertham, we call it. He himself will give. Like temples, you know, they bring like that and they give. I don't know whether you know. In South India, that is the habit. They do this Mangalarathi with karpura and then they bring that light. Along with that, there will be... So you take this one and they will give you in your hands. Very tasty. Tulasi will be there and this camphor will be there. Camphor smell will be there. So you feel that there is some spirituality there. So one day he did puja and a lot of crowd was there. And he was distributing. One woman he noticed was very sad. So he told her, he knew her. He said, you wait here and after I distribute theertham, then you come and... So after that he called her and he said, why are you so sad? He said, Swami, somebody had snatched away my Mangala Sutra. Mangala Sutra is very sacred for a very married woman. And it was a golden Mangala Sutra. In that crowd, somebody had snatched. And it is not the gold only, but it is inauspicious for a married woman, as though she would become a widow. Swami told, you send your husband to me. And the husband came. He gave him one mantra. He said, go to your house. There are so many guest houses where people could stay. You sit in the veranda of your house. He told the husband. Ten thousand times you repeat this mantra. Exactly as you are finishing the ten thousandth time, you will see a man walking in front of your house. Follow him. You will get back your wife's Mangala Sutra. So this man, they had all faith, you know. Once Swami says, means it is faith. So he started repeating. At about three o'clock, he completed. As he completed the last repetition of the mantra, one man, like a zombie, you know, he did not know what he was doing. He was walking. So the husband followed him. Soon they went outside the village. There was a field. And this man dug a little bit. Then he did not know what he was doing. Like an unconscious person. And then he went away. This husband went there and saw his wife's Mangala Sutra was lying there. And he brought it home. How many days? Two months. Kolkata, Delhi, everything. I did not see the rest of the children. Oh, you did not see the children. Okay, that is so beautiful. So, it is okay. I am coming, Maharaj. What is your name? He is my son. This is Sourav. My son. His name is Pranil. This is my son. He is doing his MBA in Dharam. Stay there. I am doing my MBA in Dharam. One more year? No, it will be over in the last two weeks. Next two weeks. And then? I am looking for a job. Here? Yes. Brexit, Brexit. Yes, it is difficult. I am trying. If you stay in Kapal, it is Kapal's business. If you stay in Kapal, your son will come. Okay. Thank you, Maharaj. So, these things, nowadays, people do not believe. Nobody believes in mantras and other things. Very powerful. Holy Mother had a mantra. It was called Kama Gayatri. Kama Gayatri. Kama Gayatri means... There are so many Gayatris out there. Not one. The famous Gayatri means only one. Bhur Bhuvah Swaha. And that is not Gayatri. That is not Gayatri. No. Tat Savitur Oreniam Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi Dheeyo Yonah Prachodayat That is Gayatri. Gayatri means 24 letters. So, it has been this. Gayatri has been taken from three Vedas. This Japam that we just said. Three Vedas. Tat Savitur Oreniam from Rig Veda Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi from Yajur Veda and Dheeyo Yonah Prachodayat from Sama Veda. So, when a person repeats this, each has got eight letters. When a shloka becomes 24 letters, its name is called Gayatri Chandas. Gayatri meter. What is the eight letters Swamiji? From the three Vedas, you got the three chunks. Somebody has selected so that once a person repeats, it gives the result of studying or repeating three Vedas. That is the belief. But it consists of 24 letters. And that is called Gayatri. It is because of the Chandas the name got Gayatri. Gayatri is a kind of Vedic meter. That's all. Now, Bhur Bhuvah Swaha, Om Bhur Bhuvah Swaha is an addition which has nothing to do with Gayatri Mantra. Because Gayatri should contain only 24 letters. Which is the three Vedas? Three into eight. If you count Tat Savitur Oreniam, Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi, Dheeyo Yonah Prachodayat, then it counts to 24 numbers. This is an addition. People don't know that. But it doesn't matter. They believe the whole thing is Gayatri Mantra. Why was it added? Bhur Bhuvah Swaha? Because the first part of the Gayatri Mantra, Tat Savitur Oreniam, that Savitur means Srashta, etymological meaning, the one who created this whole universe. That is elaborated as, according to Hindu scriptures, the whole universe is divided into several categories. One such category is Trilokas. That's a Triloka, Palaka, Triloka, Nashaka. So, Bhur Bhuvah Swaha, Bhur means our Earth. Swaha means Swarga Loka, Suvar Loka. Between these two, whatever is there is called Bhuvah. That means it covers the entire universe. So, you are the creator of the entire universe. This is the symbolism. There are four Vedas. Originally, there were only three. That's why Trayee Vedam. It is called Trivedi. Where does the name Trivedi come from? Yes, Trivedi. There was one Trivedi in Germany. He asked me, Swami, what is Veda? Trivedi means one who knows three Vedas. That has nothing to do with Vedas. There is a Chaturvedi. That means he who knows four Vedas. There is a Dvivedi. Very common title. He who knows two Vedas. So, this is the title of people who became experts in two Vedas, three Vedas, four Vedas. Scholars. Similarly, many of these Bengali names, Mukha Upadhyaya, Chattopadhyaya, all these names, they are Upadhyaya, means they were Brahmin teachers. Mukha means another name for Veda. One who teaches the Veda is called Mukha Upadhyaya. Then afterwards it became Mukharji. Afterwards it became Mukku. Mukharji has become Mukkuji. Do you understand what Mukku means? Illiterate. Foolish fellow. Yeah, that is it. Morkha. So, in the beginning, only three Vedas were accepted. Later on, a great Rishi came. His name was Atharvana. And a lot of people started following him. So, the earlier Brahmins who divided Veda into three parts, in the beginning Veda was only one. Later on, it was given to Vyasa who divided the whole thing into four. So, what happened, before Vyasa, the Vedas were only three. Before Vyasa came, another great Rishi had come. He became very popular. His name was Atharvana. So, in his name, his teachings have come to be known as Atharvana Veda. So, they had to accept because of the popularity. And so, three Vedas now became four Vedas. And this is represented by Brahma. Brahma has got four faces. That is why Chatur Mukha Brahma we call him. What is Chatur Mukha? Four faces. No, no, four faces means four Vedas. Another name for Veda is Brahma. Karma Brahmodbhavam Vidhi Brahmaakshara Samodbhavam Karma originates from Brahma. Now here, not that Brahma. Here, Veda. Vedas dictate to us what to do, what not to do. Here, the name of Brahma means not Brahma. Brahma means Veda. I had a wrong impression. Atharvana Veda, I thought it was later. It became a Veda because it actually had the Shastras like Ayurveda, Chikitsa Shastra. Those were not part of the other Vedas. No, no, they were never part of any Veda. But they became part. No, no, they are called Shadanga Veda. Vedanga, they are called. Siksha, Nirukta, Kalpa, Dhanurveda, Ayurveda, these are called Angas. Vedangas are not a part of the Vedas. They are auxiliaries to Vedas, not part of the Vedas. So, this particular thing, four Vedas it has become. From Vyasa. Because of Vyasa, he said, this mass of Vedas have become so huge and it is not possible for any one person to master them. So, he divided them, edited them, and made them into four, what we now call four Vedas. He had four disciples, and to each one of the disciples, he had taught one particular part of the original Veda, and that disciple, he started propagating it. And so many times, so many parts of it, the people became selfish, they were only teaching to their own children so that the job will become secure. And sometimes before he could teach, the father passed away, or the son passed away. And because they did not pass it to others, we have lost nearly 95% of the Vedas. What we have now is only a very tiny part of that huge Vedic mass of literature. This is the present condition. But even what exists now, Rig Veda itself is more than 10,000 mantras. Rig Veda itself consists of 10,000 mantras. Those mantras are equal to our Dikha mantras? No, no, there is a misnomer about it. Certain mantras are powerful mantras. First of all, Vedic worship, you get mostly in the first three parts of the Vedas, Rig Veda, Yajur Veda, Sama Veda. Now, Adharvana, he incorporated many mantras, which we call black magic and all that, miraculous mantras, mantras for snake bite, mantras for scorpion bite, mantras for other bites, neighbour's bite, etc., etc., wife's bite, husband's bite, yeah, all these, you know, what you call in Bengal, what we call tantric mantras, it is not necessarily black. Kamya mantras, for example, a person is suffering from fever, so he doesn't want to harm anybody, but he wants to become free, and then suppose somebody wants some money, he is not wanting to harm anybody, but a poor man wants to get some money. I also wanted to get some money when I was in Bangalore, because they have given me the task of constructing a temple. We said, where am I going to get money? I am not a person to go and beg money and all those things. So, two things I did. First, I wrote a letter to Holy Mother. It is your responsibility, and if you want the temple, let it come, otherwise, it's okay for me. Now, it is entirely up to you. Where did you post it? I didn't post it. I kept it in my drawer. Second thing I did, I believe in these things, you know, in the Vedas, there is a Sukta. It is called Sri Sukta. Hiranyavarnam, Harinim, Suvarna, Rajatasrajam, Chandram, Saraswati, like that it goes beautifully. It is called Sri Sukta. Not Bengali Sukta. Sukta means Sukta. Very beautiful saying. So, this Sri Sukta, people believe, if you regularly chant it, then Mother Lakshmi's grace will come. Sri is another name for Lakshmi Devata. And it proved to be absolutely true. Then the second one is, Rudracharya's composition, Kanakadharastava. So, I started chanting. You believe me, if you don't believe, I don't mind. Within two years, 25 lakhs of rupees were collected in those days, 1988 to 1990. No, no, there is nothing wrong. If you do it with devotion, it will come. But you must have belief in it. Maharaj, another thing is, Shri Ramakrishna said that to your wish fulfillment, you can go to Siddhaswari Kali. Anybody whom you have faith. But there is a specification, you know. If you want knowledge, don't go to Mother Lakshmi. She will give you money. And the moment she gives money, you will have no time for study. If you want money, don't go to Saraswati. In our Hindu belief, these are called, what is called? Step-wives are what is called? Shati. Shatma. So these are, what is called? They hate each other. They are envious of each other. So where one is, the other one will not be there. So that is why you have to choose. There was one great man, poet. He was a worshipper of the Divine Mother Kali. So one day he went, and he was a very humorous fellow. So he saw the Devi. She had, you know, ten heads, but two hands. This fellow started laughing, laughing, laughing uproariously. So Mother got very angry and said, Why are you laughing at me? Don't get angry. I will explain to you. You see, I have got only one face and two hands. When I catch cold, the amount of water comes out. I can't control with two hands. You have got ten faces but only two hands. How do you manage it? This kind of... Then one day Mother was pleased. She showed him two cups. Both were filled with milk. So she asked, Do you want this or do you want that? He asked, What is your explanation? What is the difference? She said, If you drink this milk, you will get knowledge. If you drink this milk, you will get prosperity, money. You have to choose. He said, Without examining, how can I choose? Both drank at the same time. So Mother got annoyed and said, You will become a Vikatakavi. Vi-ka-ta-ka-vi. You reverse it. Vi-ka-ta-ka-vi. Kavi means poet. Vikata means funny poet. This word Vikatakavi, if you reverse also, it will become exactly the same. Who is that? Dhanali Ramakrishna? Dhanali Ramakrishna. He is like your Gopal Bhatt. Gopal Bhatt. He is exactly like that. So, the thing is, our Hindu Vedas have created specific gods and goddesses, specific powers, for specific purposes. So that is why, if you want money, prosperity, job, etc., go to Mother Lakshmi. But if you are keen after knowledge, then you worship, do Upasana of Mother Saraswati. This is the explanation. But in reality, they are not two separate... Swamiji, I have heard that the Gayatri Jabam, Om Guru Vatsa is the most powerful mantra. Is there anything like that? Or is it more powerful? You see, first of all, it is the most wonderful mantra you can get anywhere. Secondly, it is the most ancient mantra. Maybe 11,000 years old. And undoubtedly, that mantra is the most wonderful mantra. Why do I say? It doesn't ask you, Oh God, give me this and that. It simply says, Oh Lord, I meditate upon you. You guide my understanding. Enlighten. Dhiyo yo naha prachodaya. May you give us the right understanding. So that is the most wonderful mantra. Otherwise, we specify to God what to give and what not to give. Here we say, You give me the right understanding. If God gives you the right understanding, this is what is called Vidya Maya. Ramakrishna used to call, this is called Vidya Maya. Then you become liberated. Because if you once understand that this world doesn't belong to me, I don't belong to the world, then the only thing is I belong to God. So when this understanding comes, all your problems are solved. That is why it is a wonderful mantra. Not only that, millions and millions and millions of people, by chanting Gayatri Mantra, they have realized God. So how does a mantra become effective? When that mantra is used by somebody, and those persons become, what we call Siddhi, Mantra Siddhi, that means the people become Siddhas, perfect. That proves that that mantra is really effective. Maharajshri, Yes, come. Why is sometimes the... Bhagwan Narayan. What is it? Why is sometimes we are chanting the mantras as per our Guru's given? Why is it taking time to be perfect? That is your problem, not my problem. No, just ask me. Yes, your problem. You must have that devotion, you must have that Shraddha, you must have that sincerity, and you must have that longing. So God is ready. Are you ready? Why is it taking long time? When Sri Ramakrishna, he did Japam like that once, immediately he obtained result. And how is it that you are going on repeating, I am going on repeating, nothing is happening. Because earnestness, longing is not there. Yes? I read somewhere yesterday or day before that Shri Shri Ma said to one monk, Swami Vasudevananda, that God gives you, when you really need something, God grants you at the time when you really need it. That's what I am saying. When a person is ready, that's what Sri Ramakrishna, in his inimitable voice, what he says, you know one child was about to go to bed at night, it says, Mom, when I feel like answering calls of nature, please wake me up. Mother smiled and said, Baba, I do not need to wake you up, that urge itself will wake you up. What does it mean? It means when there is real longing, then everything falls into pieces. Everything falls into order and then God's grace will be there. So our idea is, God is waiting to bestow His grace and waiting. But Sri Ramakrishna never said that. He said the wind of God's grace is always blowing. You have to unfurl your sails. That's what a very wonderful teaching. That means God is ready. Am I ready? And if I am not ready, even if God bestows His grace, I can't retain it. Several examples are there in Sri Ramakrishna's life itself. I will give two examples. On 1st January, 1886, Sri Ramakrishna was touching everybody, Kolpata was there, and he touched Vaikuntha Nath Sanya, and he started seeing Sri Ramakrishna everywhere. After two or three days, he prayed, I am not able to put up with it. You please withdraw. Because seeing Sri Ramakrishna, it requires that tremendous mind. Something is pulling him. Madhurbhava once prayed for Bhava. Sri Ramakrishna discouraged him, but he persisted. And after a few days, suddenly he went into Bhava, Madhurbhava. After two or three days, he sent for Sri Ramakrishna. He said, Bhava, this doesn't suit me. It will only suit you. You better take it yourself. Because all the zamindari is going to dogs. Why did they return it? You see, if the mind is not ready, the body is not ready, the nervous system will get shattered. Supposing there is a child. You put 5 kg of weight on the child's head and ask him to walk. What would be the result? But the same child, when he becomes 10 years or 15 years, then you put that weight, he will carry it. So, why do you think spiritual life is any different from this? The nervous system will simply break down. If we receive something of which we are not ready. So, this is one example. Madhurbhava says, second example. Swami Vivekananda, Narendranath. That is the third example. Sri Ramakrishna wanted to give him everything on his second or third visit. You know that. Sri Ramakrishna touched him. What was Narendranath's reaction? I have my father, my mother, my family. He said, my parents are in Calcutta. Meaning what? But I can't take it. And then Sri Ramakrishna had to again touch him and then bring him. No, no, bring him back from that high state. Because the whole world was going round and round. Arjuna, he was granted. He only wanted, I want to see you. And he was granted universal vision. And how long, what was his prayer afterwards? He was scared. Sagat gata bheeta bheeta pranamya. Pranitasmat pranamya pranidhaya kayam. He said, oh Lord, I am not able to put up. My whole body is shaking out of fear. It will just fall down. So please, I want to see you exactly in the form I was seeing before. He could not hold. Vaikuntha Sanyal could not hold. Narendranath could not hold. Madhur Babu could not hold. Swami Brahmanandaji could not hold. You know that? No, I didn't know that. See, Swami Rakhal Maharaj, he started visiting Sri Ramakrishna. So, one day he went, he came to Dakshineswar. He sat in front of Mother Kali's. In those days, you know, hardly anybody comes. So you could simply see. The light has come in. No, no. That first, nothing else happened. He was not able to concentrate. Then he said, why am I wasting my time? At home, I will be busy with ten things. So, he decided to go home. He thought that by coming to Dakshineswar, his mind will be merged in Samadhi. Nothing of that was happening. So, when he was going, on the way he encountered Sri Ramakrishna. Then Sri Ramakrishna was surprised. Just now he went to sit for meditation. Why did you get up? He said, you know, my mind is very restless. I can't sit quite. Then Sri Ramakrishna, he said, you stretch your tongue. And he wrote something there. Now you go and sit. So, Raja Maharaj went and he sat. The moment he sat, he saw a powerful light was coming. And he could not tolerate it. He simply got up and started. Then again Sri Ramakrishna saw him. This time, what happened? Previously, because there was no vision, he got up. Now, because there was a vision, he couldn't take it. He said, what is this? You wanted something, I gave you something and you can't hold. He can't hold. Who is that man? Raja Maharaj. Swami Brahmananda. Yes, he could not hold. So many things, you know. Even he couldn't hold. No, Swamiji could not hold. Sri Ramakrishna touched him. He got excited. They were not ready. When they were ready, they got it. Like this, so many, they wanted, they thought it is fun. But it is not fun. Your nervous system will become shattered. This is a point we are unable to understand. Any idea, I am not talking only about spiritual idea. Any powerful idea, if it comes, and our nervous system is incapable of holding it, the body becomes shattered. For example, simple example, suppose somebody is threatened, tonight I will come to your home and I will shoot you dead. Fear. So much of fear, the nervous system, they can have heart attack. It is said of Mary Antoinette, the king of France, Louis XIV or XVI, you know, she was imprisoned, she was sentenced to guillotine. Overnight, that most beautiful young woman had become haggard old woman. Her whole hair, they say, had become white overnight. Can you imagine that? One night, I don't know, I find it hard to believe. Okay, if it is terrible worries, terrible fear, anxiety, okay, three months, six months, very fast the hair becomes white. But overnight, it is written anyway, overnight, beautiful black hair has become white. That was nothing. Now, every white hair, overnight, it is becoming black. One hour, half an hour. What one hour? Few minutes. Yeah. Every time I get surprised. Yeah, two devotees came from Chennai, just last Wednesday. The woman's hair was white, grey and black. The man's, 76 years old, jet black. I said, is it real this thing? Then their wife was telling, Swamiji, in this world, nothing is real. In this world, nothing is real. So, you know the powerful effect of some strong idea on our nervous system. So spirituality, it is said in the gospel of, not gospel, great master, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Jesus Christ, Saint Francis of Assisi. His blood used to come out of the joints under the powerful influence of very high spiritual ideals. Shri Ramakrishna, how much he suffered, his whole body goes into unbearable burning sensation. Two or three times it happened. The description was there. Bhairavi Brahmani was there at that time. So she used to take him to, to take bath in the Ganges. She could not hold his body. She would put a thick blanket and hold his hand and take him to the Ganges. Even then her hand could not hold Shri Ramakrishna's body through the blanket. So much burning, heat, how much he was suffering. So ours together used to merge himself up to here and put a wet towel over his head and like that he suffered for a few days. Then Bhairavi Brahmani, she knew this was the experience of some people in the past. So then she advised him to wear one, you know, fragrant flower? No, no, no, no, no. This one. No, no, what is it called? Amulet. Amulet. Amulet. Amulet. With his Ishta Devata's name written there. That was what Mahapurush Maharaj's father got it prepared for him. Once he started wearing, like magic, the whole burning sensation, that is one time. Another time, burning sensation came. Then what you said you know, she put sandal paste and then fragrant flowers, garlands, plenty of garlands and worshipped him and within 2-3 days that came down. Another time he started suffering from insatiable hunger. Then she imprisoned him in a room full of hundreds of varieties of foodstuffs, sweets, everything. 3 days he went on eating and then he became cured. When a person is practicing yoga, especially pranayama and other things, the Jataragni will start burning like anything. You know Jataragni? Digestive fire. There was this incident of Swami, the life of Swami Ram Das. There was a great saint, there was a great saint, Swami Ram Das. Very, very famous. 24 hours in his ashrama, Sri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram chanting goes on. 24 hours by turns. Every devotee, 2 hours, 3 hours, like that, then he comes again after a few hours. Like that, whole day and night, 24 hours chanting is going on. So what happened, once he decided to practice pranayama. So he was living, this Ananda ashrama was not there at that time. He was living in some village and there was an old woman who used to sell this idli dosa. You know that incident? Yes. So she used to prepare. So she took a liking to Swami. So she said to Swami, you come early in the morning, I will give you breakfast. So it is about 1 mile or half a mile, I don't know, from his ashrama hut. Kutiya. So he used to go in the morning and she used to give garma, garma, garma. So one day he went, after he started practicing pranayama and he was a very sincere person. Whatever he takes up, he will do to his utmost. So 3-4 hours he was doing this practice. So one morning he went and she fed him 2 masala dosas. He was a small man, he was not a big man. He looks like Mahatma Gandhi, his appearance. Is he the same as Ramdas Katiyababa? No, like that. Mahatma Gandhi is a replica of Mahatma Gandhi. His face cut, everything. Now you can imagine. So he ate, his stomach was full and he was leisurely coming, he reached half the way, then he was ravenously hungry. All that 2 masala dosas digested within a few minutes, 15 minutes or 20 minutes. He said, I could not wait, I had to run. She was shocked, just now you ate, he said, I am ravenously hungry. She fed him another 2 masala dosas and he started back. The moment he reached half way, again, so he went back. This time she was really shocked. Shocked for 2 reasons, what is happening to this man and what is going to happen to me if this is the effect of yoga, yogic practice. After all you know what is it. Chinta ajayega. So he ate and as soon as he reached half way, he came back again. But this time he decided, why am I suffering from this? Then he understood, this pranayama had roused his jataragni. You know that acid, it becomes so powerful, that's what happened to Sri Ramakrishna. For 3 days she knew the remedy, so she had to do it. But incidentally, this is very important, I also spoke in our bhakti yoga class, why every Hindu temple, so much of sandal paste is used. Every day so much of sandal paste they use. This is the explanation. Because so many devotees, when they go, God has to take so much of their papa. Because it is a manifestation. It is also called in South India, archa avatara. Every image is equated to an avatar. But they call it archana avatara. Archana avatara. Archana avatara is one of the important concepts of Visishtadvaita. So they plume the whole image with the sandal paste. I didn't understand until recently. I thought, you know, it is very nice, fragrant smelling, but we know that it cools the body. But now only the explanation, after reading Sri Ramakrishna's life, you know that burning sensation, it becomes cool. Because when God can accept, He can also get pain. Which is amply demonstrated in the life of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother, Swamiji, Raja Maharaj, and all that. So that is why they use that. That is why every morning, early morning, they remove this old sandal paste and do complete abhisheka, and again put, and then only devotees are allowed. Maharaj, Maharaj, one thing. You said that the nervous system becomes very, it has to be very strong for those who realize God. But there are so many householders who we know who realize God in their lifetime. And they have a normal life. And so many monks... They will not have normal life. You have to be very, very sure. The moment a householder reaches a particular state, he cannot lead a normal life. He has to give it up. But there are cases when they lead what you may say husband and wife relationship only for the sake of children. They can do that. But difficult to understand. Very difficult to understand these cases. There are people who are supposed to have visions, etc. But after that also they had children and all that. For us, difficult. But one thing definitely we know. The moment they turn their mind towards God, it is completely absorbed there. You call it Tukaram, Narsi Mehtar, Thyagaraja, Purandar Dasa, anybody, completely gone. Even I know one journalist in West Bengal. I can't remember his name. Towards the end of his life, he has got a vision of possibly Sri Ramakrishna. And after a few days he died. Towards the end of his life. But even towards his death, he used to write articles in newspapers. So what? It has nothing to do. He was not a wicked person. That is his profession. In fact, Girish Chandra Ghosh had this problem. Girish Chandra Ghosh had handed over the power of attorney. Bakal Nama. D.H.N. Then he asked, Thakur, is it okay all these dramas and other things? Sri Ramakrishna said, Absolutely, don't stop what you are doing. Because instead of writing secular plays, now you awaken the consciousness of the people by writing something good. And that is why, the moment Girish Chandra Ghosh has written this Chaitanya Leela, the whole of West Bengal was flooded with devotional ideas. And people used to come for the darshan of Girish Gopal. And so famous he became. Thakur himself had seen that Chaitanya Leela 2-3 times. Holy Mother had seen. And then Thakur blessed the actress Binodini, Naughty Binodini. And her life has changed. So, what is the point here? Previously also he was writing. Now also he was writing. He wrote till the very end. Then, what is the harm? I am saying that because his nervous system, as you said... No, no, no. Bhakti Marga is totally different. What happens, God can bestow His grace, but they may not achieve such a high experience. Okay, I will give you liberation. That is what happens, you know, if you die in Varanasi. Your nervous system will never go bad. Unless you become nervous about Mukti and all that. That is a different issue. There are so many mysteries in this world. What we are talking here is Mahabhava. Mahabhava is not for ordinary people like us. It is only for Avatar Purushas, Radha, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, etc. All right, thank you. Okay, Shri Hari, we will see you. So I am going to write up all your evening talks in my own time, little bit, little bit. Your Gita and Great Masters, Mamta does a great job. Very good job. So these I am going to... Thank you very much.
