Om Vasudeva Sutam Devam Kamsa Chanuram Ardhanam Devaki Paramanandam Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum Sarvopanishadogavo Dogdha Gopalanandanah Partho Vatsa Sudhir Bhokta Dugdam Geetam Ritam Mahat Mookam Karoti Vachalam Bhangum Langhayate Girim Yat Kripatamaham Vande Paramananda Madhavam We will resume from where we have seen yesterday. Arjuna became very humble. By this time he realized that only God can remove my delusion. That's why he said that my moha is destroyed. Again the same thing he also confirms in the 18th chapter almost towards the end. Nashto Mohaha Smriti Labdha Prasadatmaya Chuta etc. So by your grace only this delusion can be destroyed. Same thing he says so Lord I have heard much from you. I know every syllable that came from your mouth is absolutely true. It is the only truth but out of your infinite grace please bestow upon me your vision, universal vision. As a result, the Lord immediately tells yes I am going to show you myself and then you can see so many things. You can see the past, present, future. You can see all the 14 lokas. You can see what is divine, what is human, what is non-human. Everything you can see. But with your worldly eyes, intellectual rational eyes you won't be able to behold. Only you require a spiritual eye and I am going to give you that spiritual vision. What we need to understand it's not a cataract operation. It is not that a special contact lens are implanted in the eye. Jnana Chakshu means here that is Divya Chakshu. Jnana Chakshu is same. Divya Chakshu means divine eye means it is a special type of mind. Same type of mind before it beholds everything ordinary world. But when a person sees, has this divine eye he sees the same thing in a different way. Let me illustrate it. Before Hiranyakashyapu was seeing everything with a worldly eye so he could not even recognize, cognize the greatness of his own son Prahlada. He was seeing I am the king so I am full of egotism but why my son instead of worshipping me as the supreme reality why is he running after another being that is called Narayana. So he tried to kill him. Devotion can never be killed and Prahlada is an embodiment of the highest devotion. Hiram Krishna had no words to describe. He used to say that eternal souls that Nityamuktas, Prahlada was one of them. He knew nothing excepting God. So this Prahlada means devotion. Once it comes, grows in a human heart. No worldliness can kill it. Sometimes it can be hidden. It just goes beyond the curtain. So why is it important for us to know? There are some devotees and at one time they are full of devotion but after some time they become very worldly and later on they realize oh what a wonderful devotion I had before. Everything is lost. This is the reassurance nothing is lost. It is just covered up. You remove the covering and everything is as it is not only as it is slowly through these worldly experiences the understanding is growing correspondingly the devotion is also growing. All of us are growing in devotion, in spirituality have absolutely no doubt about it. That is very important point. So what are we talking? Divya Jaksha means the object doesn't change but the person who is seeing, smelling, tasting, touching etc. that person's mind changes. Like another illustration in semi-darkness a person mistakes, he sees a snake. Same person when light is brought or in daylight he sees, he doesn't see the snake. He sees the rope. A change has never occurred in the rope. No snake has come out. No snake has disappeared but all the change has taken place in the beholder. The snake, the thought of the snake has risen in the mind of the perceiver, beholder and when proper light is brought, proper knowledge came. Nothing changed but proper knowledge sees the same object as something else. With that illustration what we now see through worldly understanding God as the world when this Divya Jaksha is given we see that there is no Vaikuntha, Kailasa or Naraka everything is nothing but one pure divine Lord. That is called Divya Jaksha. As an example, Gopala's mother. Earlier she had seen Gopala's Sri Ramakrishna. Then he was a sadhu, good man and so she felt attracted. She started coming. The attraction started to grow but when she had the vision of Gopala that day carrying her Gopala she came to Dakshineswar and what was this Gopala doing? Her Gopala, he entered immediately into the body of Sri Ramakrishna came out into her hands again entered into his remember it was not a physical Gopala it was her what is called spiritual eye. So this spiritual Gopala beheld by the spiritual purified eye of Gopala's mother. Divya Jaksha, he was entering into Sri Ramakrishna coming out. Then the understanding was given to her that that Sri Ramakrishna whom she considered as a good sadhu earlier now suddenly became Harishtanivata Gopala. What has changed? Did Sri Ramakrishna suddenly from ordinary man become Gopala because of her? No. He was like that only before. He is also like this now. In future also he will be. But all the change had taken place in her. Not only that did any change take place in other devotees? According to their growth, spiritual growth they will also view him. That's why Sri Ramakrishna had a peculiar habit. Every now and then he wants to test his devotees. What does he do? He calls them, tells them what is your opinion about me? What do you think of me? Some say you are a sadhaka. We see you taking God's name, sitting, meditating, talking about God. Some people say you are a Siddha. You are realized. You are a Mukta Purusha. You are a Jeevan Mukta. Some people say you are an avatar. But one devotee went to the extreme. That devotee said those people who call you an avatar are very lowly minded people. Sri Ramakrishna was surprised. What do you say? What can be higher than the concept of an avatar? Sri Ramakrishna was then asking as though he did not know. Then the devotee, so he told you are not an incarnation of God. You are that very source from whom all the incarnations have come or are going to come in future. That means you are that Parabrahma. Who was that devotee? He was called Narayana or Poorna also was of that opinion. So Sri Ramakrishna did not change. For Swami Vekananda, did he change? Missionaries thought he was one of the worst human specimen. They even wanted to kill him. Just as Jews did away with Jesus Christ not understanding he came for their welfare. He gave up his life for their welfare. So for each one of us depending upon our chakshu we perceive the same world in a different way. For that I gave you many times one classical example. One example is this. Supposing there is an object. We know it is a table and devotees who have been hearing me must recollect it. You call one woodworm and ask it what is this object? It says food. Ask a human being what is it? He says it is a wooden table. Ask physicist with a very powerful electronic microscope and he says this is pure energy moving at vibrating at mind-boggling speed at the speed of light. Ask Sri Ramakrishna. He says this is my Divine Mother. The object has never changed. But depending upon what type of chakshu is there each person is convinced that that object must be only that thing and nothing else. That is the lesson. The change must come from within ourselves and not from outside at all because outside there is only one that is called God, that is called Brahman or that is called Divine Mother whatever name you prefer to call it by. Now coming back to this we also see that one that Sri Ramakrishna used to bestow his grace. What was his grace? Similarly on 1st January 1886 which we all celebrate as Kalpataru. Within another two months we are going to celebrate that one. Two and a half months or so. Now on that day Sri Ramakrishna touched. Then they all had various visions and one person had the vision of Sri Ramakrishna. Before Sri Ramakrishna touched him what was his idea about Sri Ramakrishna? And after Sri Ramakrishna touched him what was his knowledge about Sri Ramakrishna? This is another illustration. So Holy Mother also. Some people she replied I am an ordinary woman. To some she replied I am Kali. I am the Divine Mother. I am the Universal Mother. I can do anything I like. So Chakshu is not a sense organ but it is what is called a state of the mind. A state of spiritual progress. If we have that spiritual eye we will see everything as permeated. Everything is as God. That's why we hymn Sri Ramakrishna everyday. Gnananjana Vimalanayana Vikshane Moha Joy So the Lord says Arjuna you do not have this spiritual capacity but out of my grace I am going to give you that Divyam Dadhamite Chakshu Vashyame Yogam Aishwaram Why? Otherwise Nathumam Sekhese Drashtam Anena Eva Svachekshusha With this type of knowledge you have in your mind, in yourself you will not be able to see me. No. Was Arjuna blind? No. You will be able to see me but you will see me only as a Hey Krishna Hey Adava Hey Sakha Not as the Supreme Divine Lord as the creator, maintainer and destroyer of this entire universe. No, no. You won't be able to see. We have to put on the collarium of that Gnana Gnana Chakshu and that can come only from God. So let us keep these two points in mind unless we have spiritual knowledge our mind is permeated into a spiritual eye permanently transformed into a spiritual eye we can't see anything as spiritual. First point. Second point is this cannot happen unless God is gracious. That is very important. Why am I saying this? I have been telling this umpteen number of times we sing that beautiful song Shokali Tumari Ichcha The whole universe's mother is run by you as a puppeteer moves all the puppets but at the same time in this song also Some people you make them attain to the state of Brahma and some people you degrade them to the lowest state of consciousness. There is no such thing as one person is elevated another person is demoted. No, no. Same person may be elevated same person may be demoted as in the case of Totapuri or one person may be elevated another person may be demoted and may be among different persons. Divine Mother can do whatever she likes. If we keep this in mind there is no chance of our getting what is called deluded or egotism can never arise. So you will not be able to see me this ignorant eyes of yours state of the mind. Therefore I will give you special type of sense organ and that is called Divya, Divine. He is referring only to the state of knowledge not to the mere eyes. I will give another illustration. The sense organs perceive according to the state of our mind. This illustration of the rope and the snake is quite explainable. So supposing in semi-darkness you go there and you are very frightened of snakes because of past experience and you see the subject immediately what do your eyes see? A snake. Why does it see the snake? Because you had bad experiences in your past. That was your knowledge. In your mind snakes are poisonous. They are bad. They can only give me terrible suffering and grief. Supposing some other person comes and that person is a friend of snakes. He is a snake catcher and somebody told if you can bring me the most poisonous snake I will reward you with so much money. And he is passing. He sees the same object like you and then immediately jumps up. With what? Fear? No. Joy. Oh God how gracious you are. This is another for my collection. See according to the state of the mind one person is frightened another person is very very joyous. Same object can give different experience. Now I will illustrate with another. Here is a man. Here is a woman. And this man and the woman are related as brother and sister. The thought of lust will never ever arise in the mind of this person. But suppose a stranger looks at her and she is very beautiful immediately if I possess this woman then I will be a happier person than what I am. Both are looking at one and the same object. But two entirely different reactions. And the eyes are perceiving accordingly. So what is the difference? The state of the mind. Please keep this in your mind that we see things not through the physical eyes but actually our state of the mind dictates whether we see friends, enemies, attractive, repulsive, happy, unhappy, good, evil, etc. The son of a, let us say the child of Hitler Saddam Hussein. They see their father as great heroes whereas everybody else who is harmed they see that person as one of the greatest wickedness personified in this world. So that point I hope you have got it. Oh Arjuna I will give you a spiritual mental outlook and through that mind and through the instrumentality of the sense organs whatever you perceive you will interpret in a totally different manner. And to give another illustration as I mentioned it earlier, M during the lifetime of Sri Ramakrishna went to Kamarpakur. He had a marvelous experience just as Sri Ramakrishna had seen the entire Varanasi city as golden city as a spiritual city. M saw the whole Kamarpakur, the birthplace of an avatar as fully filled with spiritual village. All people are divine beings. Even the dust is shining because of that satvaguna, spirituality. So he came back and he was joyously narrated his experience and begged permission to go once more. This time Sri Ramakrishna said no. Why? How did M come to see the Kamarpakur in that golden light? Because Sri Ramakrishna out of his boundless grace, he gave that special vision, Divya Chakshu. That is why he was able to see. Madhur Babu was one day sitting in the veranda. Sri Ramakrishna was walking on the north-western veranda of his room and suddenly Madhur Babu from his room, he was sitting on an easy chair and smoking Hubble Bubble. Suddenly the pipe dropped from the hookah, dropped from his hands. He was astounded. What was he seeing? That Mother Kali and Shiva. If Sri Ramakrishna was walking that way, it was Shiva. When Sri Ramakrishna was facing him and facing the other side, he was Mother Kali. Immediately he went and fell at his feet. Now did any change take place in Sri Ramakrishna? Yes and no. For ordinary eyes he was just a temple priest and even maybe mad. But for Madhur Babu he was his Ishta Devata. Shiva and Shakti combined together. This is what we are talking here. Unless the Lord is gracious, it is not possible for us. That is what is being said here so beautifully. So, oh Arjuna, I will give you that special state of knowledge and with that state of the mind, whatever your sense organs see, they see only the divinities. And then he says, the Lord says, The Lord said, behold my forms, oh Partha, by the hundreds and the thousands, manifold and divine, various in shape and hue. So, how many? Hundreds. How many? Thousands. What does it mean? All the forms this world has got in one glance, you know. And not only there are so many varied, each one differs from each necklace. One is studded with this kind of diamond, that kind of pearl, the other kind of precious jewels, different shapes, different sizes, etc. Nanavidhani, different types, different forms. Nanavarna, different colours, Nanakruti, different forms. All of them what? Divyani. Every one of is Divya. What does it mean? It means you see a tree, that is God in the form of the tree. For every devotee, as we know, Tulasi is Narayana. Belva is Lord Shiva. So, for Ganesha, there are 21 types of leaves, grass, etc. That is all, nothing but divine. For a devotee of Ganga, that river is not a body of water, but the Divine Mother that came from the lotus feet of Narayana and through Shiva came down to this earth for what? For washing away all the misdeeds, papas of people like us. So, all the rivers, all the mountains, everything is nothing but God. That's what in the end of the 10th chapter we have seen. Oh Arjuna, behold, Pashyame Partha. Look at me with this spiritual eye. What to see? Shatashaha hundreds, thousands, millions, billions of what Rupani forms and Nanavidhani of different types, different shapes, different colors, different qualities. There may be 10,000 varieties of same rose, single petaled, double petaled, many many petaled, different colors, different degrees of fragrance, everything you can see. But all are what? Divyani. That word Divyani is the most essential word in this shloka. What does it mean? That what we see ordinarily we call this world Jagat. But when spiritual person sees, he sees the Divine Mother. That means the whole world is nothing but purely Divine. I gave the illustration also yesterday and we have discussed this one. All ornaments that are made out of gold are nothing but gold. Then the Lord proceeds Behold the 12 Adityas, 8 Vasus, 11 Rudras and the twin Ashwinis and the 49 Maruths. Please go back yesterday and what type of seeing? Behold here today, O Arjuna, O conqueror of all your sense organs, conqueror of sleep, the whole universe of the moving and the unmoving. And if you have any desire to see me, not only as Krishna, as Rama, as Shiva, as Jaganmata, as Brahma, as Narada, as Thumbura, as any form you like, you want to enjoy, you just have to desire and I will appear to you in that form. What is the essence of this shloka? I am I am I am beyond time, I am timeless. Beyond space, I am the infinite. Beyond Karna, I am the causeless. I am the infinite. So I also quoted Isavasya mantra here. Then we will go to the next mantra which we already discussed. Sanjaya says, 9th shloka. Now the next 6 shlokas Sanjaya is telling. What is he telling? He is there at Hastinapura. He is reporting to Dhritarashtra. Dhritarashtra, remember, was not only physically blind, mentally also, he was very blind. His book Mahabharata is a marvellous thing. So once he was talking to Vidura and then Vidura came and reporting about the Pandavas and then Dhritarashtra says, Vidura, what is the news? How are those Pandavas? How are those Pandavas? Remember, in the Bhagavad Gita, so Dharmakshetra, Kurukshetra, Samaveta, Yuyutsava, Mamakaha Pandava, those Pandavas and my children. He is making such a distinction, that's why he is mentally also, he is blind only and Gandhari also was mentally blind. She had so much of attachment to her children especially to her eldest son who was Duryodhana but she also was a little bit wise person. When Duryodhana came just before the Kurukshetra war for her blessings she did not say, you are going to win she said, yato dharmaha tato jayaha, where there is dharma and victory will be surely there only. So she was a little bit, but most of the time she was blind. Why do I call her blind? Because she was getting the reports Draupadi was being disrobed by her own son and she knew that she was a pativaratha, chaste woman she knew what is dharma and what is adharma. Nobody else could say, yato dharmaha tato jayaha. She knew that her son was behaving, misbehaving immoral behavior and moreover Draupadi was not a some Tom, Dick and Harry's woman. She was her own co brothers, this one like her own daughter she could have been married to Duryodhana himself because when he went to attend Drupada Rajya's test swayamvara and then he could not lift that bow let alone discharge it. He desired Draupadi because she was black beauty, Miss Universe. She knew all these things, she was hearing all these things, she was hearing she may be covering her eyes her ears were very sharp why did she not call her children Duryodhana you rascal, this is cannot be done, I am cursing you she could curse Krishna but she could never curse Duryodhana. What blindness it is. So she could have told she could have prevented but she did not, she did not do it. She kept mum what type of chaste it is, what is the use of covering your physical eyes when you should have been uncovering your Gnana Chakshu the real understanding these are secrets in the Mahabharata, so many things are there, I am not going to talk about it but just I pointed out, next time you read you be very careful what you are doing it In the next six shlokas, Sanjaya was reporting this to this blind king because Vyasadeva had granted him this whatever is happening in the Kurukshetra war field that you reported, all the 18 days he reports it but especially at the beginning of this Mahabharata war Kurukshetra war Gita Upadesha was going on, he was listening it and he was a great soul he was understanding it he was reporting it and then in his own words in the six shlokas verses, these are the descriptions given through his mouth to Dhritarashtra the king Sanjaya reported O king, having spoken this Sri Krishna, Hari the great lord of yoga Sanjaya understood, Krishna was not an ordinary person he was the lord of yoga revealed to Arjuna his supreme form as Ishwara now Ishwara Sarvabhoothanam that is what he wants to say whatever we behold in this universe in this world, it is nothing but Ishwara who is the only reality in this whole world that was what Sanjaya understood it by the grace of Vyasa, he was not blind either physically or spiritually, he was a great soul, but he was faithful to the Kauravas he was the favourite companion not only a charioteer but companion of the Kauravas, especially Dhritarashtra he was telling having given this divine conjecture to Arjuna what did Krishna do? Instantaneously this Krishna who is he? Mahayogeshwara not ordinary Yogeshwara, not ordinary Jivanmuktha, but Mahayogeshwara what is that yoga? this whole maya, he is the controller of maya, the maya consisting of sattva rajas and tamas and through the power of that maya, he created this entire world through the help of that yoga maya, he himself as if he had taken a form, as if he was born as if he was living as if he was conducting all this Rayabhara, etc etc, everything that is divyam, everything is divine, janma karma jame divyam yo vetti tattvataha tyaktva deham punar janma naiti mameti saurjuna, Sanjay understood it and so he aptly called him Mahayogeshwara he can do, he can undo, he can bind he can release, now he is showing his what was he showing? paramam roopam aishwaram paramam means the whole world as himself, that is his glory, aishwaram means his power, his glory, tremendous power, to whom? parthaya, to Arjuna darshaya masa, he simply unveiled, how? he did not take off any cover he doesn't have any cover because he is uncoverable, he is infinite but he uncovered the eyes of the Arjuna, his greatest devotee, then what was Sanjay seeing and what was Arjuna seeing he was describing what Arjuna was seeing because that vision was bestowed to Sanjay aneka vakthranayanam aneka adbhuta darshanam aneka divyabharanam divya aneka udhyatayudham divya malyambardharam divya dandhanulepanam sarva ascharyamayam devam anantam vishwathomukham with many faces and eyes, presenting many wondrous sights, bedecked with many celestial ornaments armed with many divine uplifted weapons, wearing celestial garlands and vestments anointed with divine perfumes all wonderful all resplendent, all boundless and with faces on all sides, in other words universal vision so aneka vakthram vakthra means mouth, aneka nayanam, all the eyes aneka adbhuta darshanam it is impossible to describe, so wondrous aneka divyabharanam various avaranas, unseen by anybody remember Sriram Krishna had a vision of Mother Sita and then he saw her observed her, wearing bangles and then later on he got similar bangles done to Holy Mother and he also remembered Sriram Krishna remembered the divine smile indescribable smile of Mother Sita so sweet, so gracious and then Mother Sita bestowed upon Sriram Krishna that wondrous smile so if you observe a slight smile in his photograph that was taken in the sitting posture or standing posture very faint smile and those who saw it, they said it is no photograph can describe it, take it, no description will do, the only thing that we can say, whoever had seen that smile is overcome, hypnotized comes under the spell of Sriram Krishna and they will only progress in spiritual life, like you can very pale comparison when a mother who had given birth to her new baby how that mother is seeing, especially when the child is being suckled by the mother, how is the mother going on looking with what eyes and what smile, what joy, what satisfaction probably a small glimpse of that we can get so... there are so many divine weapons, all of them are uplifted, that means ready to be discharged what are we talking about? because Lord Vishnu is what is called a protector a sustainer a law upholder so he requires all these for protecting that is important then Divya Malya divine garlands garlands made up of divine flowers what divine flowers? remember Krishna's life, he brought Parijatha Vriksha because he wanted to give it to his favorite Lakshmi Devi but Satyabhama got very jealous, we know that story, anyway there are so many these things in this connection I remember that once Swami Turiyananda was entering into the Jagannatha temple at Puri and suddenly divine fragrance he was inhaling, then he looked here and there, there were not even ordinary flowers suddenly Shri Ramakrishna appeared and explained many Gods and Goddesses come to have darshan of the Divine Lord from their bodies this divine fragrance is coming and that is the reason why you are smelling all these things, in this world there are so many marvelous things, we can never understand them, so garlands they are divine garlands made up of the divine flowers and these divine flowers come out of divine plants and trees and they come only in the divine worlds they are unearthly and they are from the other worlds then Ambaradharam divine dresses what wonderful dresses we can never even imagine through our power of imagination Divya Gandha Anulepanam and all these divine forms of the Divine Lord are completely perfumed on his body Divya Gandhas that is we know only a rose smell or a jasmine smell etc or a magnolia smell but this or this Divine Lord this Parijatha, the divine smells, how many infinite number of smells and infinite bodies perhaps each being rubbed with this divine fragrance and then Sarvashcharyamayam everybody who is beholding they are completely mesmerized seeing so many things and what are they seeing? Devam, the Divine Lord what type of Lord? Anantham he is the infinite forms and Vishwathomukham all pervading, in other words indescribable vision only by reading we perhaps can get one small glimpse of it we can only imagine he, Arjuna, Sanjaya many other Siddha, Kinnaras etc were able to see this divine vision but not Duryodhana and other soldiers armies belonging to either Kaurava party or the Pandava party if the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst forth at once in the sky, that would be like the splendor of the mighty one just imagine, you are looking towards the east early in the morning after dawn, suddenly the sun peeps out and sometimes we are not able especially in summer season even that brilliance you can't look at him for a long time maybe just for a few seconds but if you were to exercise your imagination a thousand suns thousand means hundreds and crores of thousands of, crores and crores of, billions and billions of suns at the same time who can withstand that splendor, that is what is describing Bhavet, Yugapat at the same time, Uthitha, Rijan Edhibha Sadrushi perchance if that light coming from these billions and billions of suns all at once region perhaps that means definitely it is not equivalent comparable to the light that is emanating from the body, divine body of this Vishwaroopa Bhagwan what a marvellous thing I will come to that, first of all you know, America was informed, Hitler was developing the atom bomb, if within six months he will be capable of making an atom bomb, after that he is invincible, unstoppable and America got, Einstein and other scientists, remember many scientists have fled from Germany, Vienna and other, Austria and other places for fear of being killed by Nazis, so they all migrated to America and they knew what was happening here, because they themselves were helping Hitler earlier, but when things took to an ugly turn then they all fled wise people, somehow they could manage and fly and they wrote a letter to President Roosevelt, if you don't take action immediately then America will be under the thumb of Hitler, immediately Roosevelt he said everything will be stopped only there is a race to develop an atom bomb before so they developed it in fact and they tested it in that one of the deserts I forgot the name and from a very small quantity of that atom bomb, explosion and then there was one of these scientists Oppenheimer he said he was not only a scientist, he also studied the Gita and then when that trigger was released and that explosion that created such a light then he is telling that this Oppenheimer who studied the Gita and then to him this shloka this particular, if 100 billion suns arise at the same time in the eastern sky, what would be that brilliance that brilliance is this atomic brilliance explosion brilliance is a little bit, tiny bit of it, he was dumb struck, he could not describe but this was what he expressed later on in his words what does it mean? it means that nobody no human eye can stand that one now we will come to Sri Ramakrishna Sri Ramakrishna describing when Rama entered into the Dasaradasa Sabha that court, as if a 1000 suns were walking at that time Sri Ramakrishna posed a question he said, in that case, will not the all the courtiers be burnt to death? and he says no, it is a spiritual splendor their hearts will bloom like lotuses bloom when the sun rises, like that every courtier's heart bloomed like a lotus filled with indescribable joy, that's why his very name, etymological meaning of Rama Ramayate iti Ramaha just see him and the whole the beholder's mind will be filled with Sachidananda, so this is a wonderful descriptive form Arjuna was beholding Sanjaya was beholding and reporting to in Hastinapura to Dhritarashtra Chapter 13 O Raja Dhritarashtra there, in the person of the God of Gods, Arjuna beheld the whole universe with its manifold divisions all gathered together in one form one form but at the same time infinite, at the same time all divided indivisible, at the same time divided, that is called Yoga Aishwara the glory of Mahayogeshwara Hari Arjuna was seeing everything in one glance which is not possible for the human eye at all in fact, at any given time we can only see or experience one thing, if I am seeing I am seeing one object, then I am hearing, that object is gone, I am hearing that sound, that is gone I smell something the mind only can hold one thought at any given time but it can happen very fast giving to the illusion like a movie, as if still pictures are moving so as if at single moment a person is watching everything but here Arjuna was given that special vision where from he is seeing the entire world divided as well as undivided, the finite as well as the infinite that is the, don't ask how that is the grace of the Aishwarya of the Yoga Mahayogeshwara at the same time, so how could he see it, I can only give a pale comparison and with that I will close this today's talk, now how is this comparison is coming supposing there is a madcap and he is taken to a psychiatrist and the psychiatrist is described what is the characteristic, why he was brought now, this psychiatrist at the same time have two visions one vision, this fellow is mad, another vision he is not mad, simple example this person thinks he is Napoleon and the psychiatrist knows this is not Napoleon, he is XYZ, but at the same time he knows but the patient doesn't know that I am so and so but he thinks I am Napoleon, so seeing in one person both normal person, real person and also from the viewpoint of the patient this double vision is what every Jeevan Mukta has here Arjuna was seeing divine lord is one infinite causeless but at the same time he is manifesting because of this body-mind complex as finite he is finite, he is infinite and he is with form he is without form he is with names, he is without names, he is with qualities he is without qualities he is with actions he is also without actions he is everything in this world that is called this Parama Yoga Ashram two impossible things are becoming possible because of that divine grace of the divine lord further descriptions we will talk about in our next class Om Vasudevasutam Devam Kamsachanuram Ardhanam Devaki Paramanandam Krishnam Vande Jagadguru May the Divine Mother Durga Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother and Swami Vivekananda bless us all with Bhakti
